Sketchen Scales Customs

Steve has my 25 and small 21 in hand, currently, making scales for each.

I see what you are asking, now.... my 25 and small 21 started life as full titanium models, not CF's. I wanted Steve to pretty 'em up AND drop the weight. They should weigh closer to the Knifeart CF 21's I have at home.

ANY CRK can get a Sketchenscale....my two are the first!

Are you using CF 25s to do scales or any sebenza would work?

Thanks Razzle, they're going to be a beautiful pair.
Tdkfm, I can do large or small 21s, 25s, and the newer umnumzaans shouldn't be a problem. I did look into an unmnuzaan with the older pivot and can't pull that one off just yet.

The scale has to be mostly G10, but I can laminate a thin layer of different material to the top, as with this African blackwood.

Thanks for the great pictures MMans!

Added some new lanyards to the blackwood sebenzas. Elk antler bead on the 21. These babies are heading up your say tomorrow Razzle!

Also got a picture from client of one of the trio of scales I did for his Bagwell installed. Looks like a sweet knife!

Great work, Steve.

Do we need to all pitch in to get you a nice camera, or a light box? Your pics suck!

Haha photography is my weakness for sure. I bought a nice camera from a forum member a couple years ago but have no time to really figure it out. It's on the long list of things to do but orders take priority.

Chokwe with lacewood

Another where I got to choose the material. Nice wood was the only criteria. I'd say this one fits.

Kizer tomcat fully dressed. Black ctek, purple haze kirinite, black pinstripes and liners.
Bead is purple haze and white mother of pearl kirinite.

On their way Greg!

Contoured Domino scale with white and blue ctek, black pinstripe, and blue liners.

Just got these in the mail. I have GOT to figure out how to take a picture that does these two justice, because I can't seem to capture just how beautiful they are. I'll keep trying though. Great job, Steve!!
