Thanks! That shouldn't be a problem at all. Shoot me an email and we can discuss it. I did a Lesson George ESV in blue G10 a while ago and it turned out great. Very similar design.

I endorse this idea! I was just handling a ZT 0900 at a knife store last weekend, and had my ESV with me to compare. They're pretty much identical as far as their shape and size. You could probably get away with having the ball bearings ride directly on the G10 like you did with the Micarta scale on that ZT 0450 of mine. The action is still smooth as silk on that one.

As the owner of the blue G10 ESV above, you should definitely do it on the 0900. It will significantly improve the knife! Now I’m thinking I need an 0900 for myself.
