Sketchen Scales Customs

When you want peel ply, nothing else will do. Better grab another air while they're still easily available so you have a backup for your backup. ;-)
Take any group shots yet?

Dressed up this fiddleback hiking buddy with ironwood burl, corby bolts, and a mosaic pin. I won't be taking orders for pinned fixed blades at this time but I'm very happy with this one.

Denim micarta scales over brown g10 liners. one of those knives I will never sell. Thanks, Steve!

Fun Fact: the denim is just starting to develop a fade pattern like raw jeans. so excited!

A100 with maroon linen micarta and matching backspacer. Scales have black liners as well but they barely show in pictures.

Thanks Lycosa, very happy with that one myself!

Thought I posted these last night, "old denim" kirinite PM2:

Made a minor mistake on the lockbar side of these. Lockbar jimping sticks out very slightly. Was thinking of selling them as seconds but just might have to keep them for myself!

Lots of scales mostly finished here. I'll be wrapping some up and posting pictures starting this weekend.
I had to post this great picture from mmans0311 of a few knives I dressed up for him. Thanks Mark!

No problem bud, i appreciate all the work you have done for me and def have more that need to be Spketched!!!

Looking good forward to it!

Delica with golden dragon juma, and some beads in the same, along with an elk antler and antelope horn bead:

Is there a place we can check out all possible materials and colors for scales? BTW that delica is awesome. I am a huge fan of the delica platform at that my sir is beautiful.

Thanks! Choices are pretty open other than cf, metal, or bone. Any type of g10, micarta, kirinite, juma, are fair game. Many woods work well on the delica too. If you have an idea of the color or look you're going for I can offer suggestions. Shoot me an email, Sketchenscales at gmail.com

Ha good point, my Instagram account is almost exclusively pictures of my work. Spketch on there as well.
