Skull or no Skull?

Will the Minuteman logo be on clip? If not could a minuteman be made where the skull goes?

Skull imagery certainly does not suggest day to day utility nor outdoor recreation operation. Maybe if I was a soldier in a combat zone, or a civy lacking in self confidence and desperately trying to impress, I might go for this. Otherwise a patriotic or otherwise less suggestive emblem would be my choice.
On the other hand I do freely admit to not owning a knife like this nor being tempted to. And if SAKs suddenly featured skulls on them I'd be busy figuring out how to remove or obscure that motif. This is a niche market you're catering to. Good luck!

The skull doesn't fit either the brand, or the cause. That being said, for some ungodly reason skulls are quite popular in the knife community, and having one might increase sales.

Personally though..... yuck.

I can't view the image in the opening post (likely a limitation of this device - I'll check from my desktop later). I have one knife with a skull, and no skull accessories. That knife is one of two ProTechs that I own...and part of the reason I bought it was because I liked the skull. This was a bit unusual; as I would generally side with the naysayers.
I'm looking forward to seeing the design.

A lot of people won't buy knives if they have skulls on them. People who like skulls don't only buy knives with skulls.

I'm 45 years old, and I would never buy a knife with a skull on it, regardless of the cause. I lost interest in skulls when I was a teenager.

I've been a raggedy-ass biker for the past 28 years, and I don't own a single thing with a skull on it.

Image wise, I personally believe that when you put a skull on a knife, it's image instantly goes from being a useful, practical, and innocent cutting tool, and instead it's image becomes an evil, menacing, and dangerous weapon. I think a skull sends all the wrong messages.

I believe that if a knife is a good knife, that people will buy it without a skull. I don't think a knife needs skulls to sell. Putting a skull on a knife will automatically cause many people to not want it, regardless of how good the knife is.

I would actually be embarrassed to own a knife with a skull on it or to have anyone see me with it.

But that's me. To each their own. And by no means is it my intent to insult other peoples tastes.

I'm on the NO side for the skull.
Perhaps like others have suggested have an option of a skull model "upgrade"

I believe that knife with the skull has somewhat of a following doesn't it? I've seen a few models for sale on some
knife retailer's sites, so I would assume that there is a market for them.

Personally, I probably wouldn't buy it with the skull on it, for myself.

My vote is for skulls. So funny to see the psychologists come out of the woodwork and try to project a meaning to the imagery of the skull or the motivations of those who would like them.

The Minuteman name and logo will be on the clip. Putting one where the skull would be nice. But one issue would be trying to keep up with one that look good in that size. Then there would be of course additional cost for design and tooling for it.

Thank you for this ! That is a beauty and is intriguing alright! And looks to be a 'skullduggery' version of my all time favourite Spartan! Were I a collector (and/or had the money) that ominous/decorative SAK would be ducked in a special place in behind the couch or the fridge beside my infinitely more defense-useful Remington 870.

my vote is for no skull on the handle, although i'm a big fan of the skull's and have them on alot of my lanyards with most of the knifes i own, putting them on the handles of a knife would serve no one.
