Guilty. But I'm not going to stop. Knife nerds know that "lanyard" often means "fob". Reg'lar folks don't know what "fob" means (at least the ones I know don't). However! I admit it is my responsibility write for my target audience. And this forum is all about knife nerds. I'll try to remember to use proper terminology in the future, but no promises.![]()
"Walk Among Us" is one of their best. So is "Legacy of Brutality".Blade Runner 7 you are the big winner! Every time I read the title of this thread I think "Misfits".
I was late to the party and discovered them thanks to Metallica. Walk Among Us is just the best. Thanks for making my day with that great video.:thumbup:
I love Danzig. Misfits are really good too, but never hooked my attention in the same way."Walk Among Us" is one of their best. So is "Legacy of Brutality".
I've always been a fan of the early/Danzig Misfits. They had another good album, I don't think it had a name, I remember it having yellow graphics on the cover. I wore out my Misfits cassettes years ago. Never got around to trying to find CD's.
And just for the fun of it, here's a Glenn Danzig scowl :grumpy: Grrrrrrrrrr.

Yep, I started as a fan of Danzig's solo project (a friend was a fan, and I eventually became a convert). And that eventually led me into the Misfits. I never got into Samhain, Danzig's band between Misfits and his solo project.I love Danzig. Misfits are really good too, but never hooked my attention in the same way.
That sounds like the truth, right there.
I don't understand why anyone puts a bead on a knife. The lanyard, I kinda get, although if I ever try to use one I end up taking it off, as it makes the whole implement less compact and tends to get caught in moving machinery at my job. Have we really gotten to the point of accessorizing knives as some kind of man jewelry? There are some aesthetic things done to knives that I enjoy, such as acid washing, stonewashing, custom scales, but everything is about making the knife reflect me. Not knocking the bead thing, but I don't understand how that adds the same kind of personal value to a knife without taking away some of the utility.
+1im a big misfits fan so i actually like them, though i dont actually own any knives with skulls on them as of yet.
