The cat was smart enough to run into the other room when she knocked the light over. My girlfriend still likes the cat, somehow I got in trouble for it though :confused:.

Cat still sleeps at the foot of the bed with us and goes on her nightly journey through the house. She just hasn't batted anything on to our heads since then.
