Sleepybadgers modded bk-5

I'm just happening across this and wow! What would you charge to do something like that for somebody else?

Read my earlier posts in this thread, he's almost considering it, so unless Charlie_K is an alias for Bill Gates, good luck. :D

Thanks for the complements guys. But as I've stated in the thread, I just did this for a buddy and I wouldn't of done that had it not been one of Ethans knives. I'm to busy with my own knives at this time to take on any back burner projects. Not sayin I won't ever, but not anytime soon. Thanks!

That is some piece of work.

Not sure if it's Jeremiah Johnson or Capt. Jack Sparrow it conjours up (LOL),
But that is one of the coolest knives I've ever seen.

Been meaning to comment for awhile - got by me.

VERY NICE !

Finally got around to taking some pictures after using it for a while. Enjoy!

Agreed, first in line for possibly the best looking Becker in history!
Great Work to everyone involved!

Balance feels really nice. Just like the original 5, its real fast in hand

Seems to me that the balance of the knife would be shifted more toward the hilt with the addition of the pommel. I wonder if the S guard counter balances the pommel? Still, there looks to be more weight from the hilt back than one has with a standard BK5.

Not that one needs to over think these things....

Just measured the balance point, its about a half inch below the top pin on the handle. Not sure what it is for the stock 5, anybody know?

Wow. That must make the blade feel unbelievably light. Not very good for chopping but for cutting it must be wonderful.
