Sleepybadgers modded bk-5

I was afraid when I opened this thread I would see another BK-5 butchered into a tanto.

BUT THAT LOOKS GREAT!

As they used to say in better times, it is like totally gnarly.

I can only imagine how fantastic that hilt would look on a Becker Patrol Machete.

Here ya go battle creek. Thanks to Christina (Murphs better half) for lending me her stock bk 5 for the before and after comparison pics!

sweet Jesus man... that thing is ri-dic-u-lous! amazing work.... Please consider doing more mods to Beckers...

TM, thanks for the comparison pics.. .I see what the other poster is talking about, the guard isn't symmetrical :D but that's what makes it so beautiful to me.... :) I'm really not that big on this style but I just love what you've done with it, not sure if you put these styles out there in your line up but you need to.. .

btw, why is it you used such a huge piece of material to turn that 'skull crusher'??

Hmmm. Not really sure what you mean about the unsymmetricall gaurd. It is a s gaurd. So it is supposed to be shaped like that. As far as the material I turned the skull crusher out of. I didn't use the whole piece. Only about a inch off the end. It was the right material and it was left over from another job. So it was basically free.

That really is some great work. Personally I think that style guard fits that blade perfectly. Well done!!!

glorious work Todd!
and like the asymmetry - the S-guard being shorter on top is a good thing for choking up on the grip.
