"Slipjoint Swap Meet" (Read Rules In Post #1)

Traded

I have a LNIB Northwoods Railsplitter Moose that I'd like to trade. It's very nice, but a little too bulky for my tastes.

This one's made by Queen (I believe it's a Schatt & Morgan pattern) with pinched & fluted bolsters, stag handles, & polished 1095 blades (Clip & Spear). It's 3.75" & the blades are 2.5" each.

A couple Queens or possibly GEC's new Dogleg Jack or something along those lines. Basically looking for something easier for pocket carry, but not too small (Ideal is around 3.5", give or take a 1/4" or so).

I'm having problems posting pics, so please email me for some if needed.

Thank you for looking.

Ok I have a nice one up for trade. I am not a collector and I think this one should possibly be preserved. It is a Hen and Rooster Voss Cut Co 4 inch stockman with stag scales. This thing is in mint condition. I honestly think it should be preserved. So if someone has a newer or slightly used one of the same patern or other nice stockman I would be very interested in trading. Contact me via email and please don't be shy.

I'd like to trade this Tidioute #73 Liner Lock in Carved Pumpkin Bone for a GEC/Tidioute/Northfield #25 Barlow. This knife has very little carry and no usage. Blade is scalpel sharp. I find I like carrying the smaller #25's with dress slacks. I am open to any variation of the #25 (wharcliffes, sheepsfoot, two-blade clip or spearpoint Jack) but really would like one with the Easy Open feature.

TRADED 6/8/2010

This is a new old stock Camillus #23 Jumbo Jack. Measures 4 1/8" closed with a 3" main blade and 2 1/4" pen blade. Half stops with great walk & talk. Long pull on main blade. Blade stamped "Camillus New York U.S.A." It is a beast, a real hefty Herman. I really didn't go for the dull white mother-of-toilet-seat handles so I had them replaced with some beautiful ruby jigged bone handles by a custom embellisher on this forum. He did a top notch job.

Pretty open on trade offers. Whatcha got?

Shoot me a PM or an email if you are interested.

Anyone interested in a GEC #23 Pioneer linerlock in pumpkin bone? It's a user.

I'd be especially interested in trying a Case swayback jack or one of those Boker Fiskmuks, but I'd certainly consider others.

Email me if interested, and I can send you pics.

So I have a NIB Case Yeller Trapper. I got it today because my hardware store is liquidating all their Case knife. It is a bit too big for me to carry alot, so I would like to trade it for a nice Mini Trapper or other 2 blade knife. Nothing larger than 3 and 7/8 inches please. Carbon steel is preferred.

Family estate knives (closer relatives got the good ones). I collect only Buck and TL-29s but maybe you need these for collection and if you don't have any extra Bucks some decent knife I can give a kid. Other peoples,( Ain't got none.......).
United - Japan, blades OK, horn end broken. I would say parts knife...... Little Black imperial is in pretty good shape, the multi-colored knife only has Pat. numbers showing....I think it is celluloid as blades appear gray (maybe etched slightly)....so if you are or aren't a cell. collector be aware. Final photo is of a unique Imperial, Prov. RI a small knife with key blank as secondary blade. In close-up you can see notch in brass where I 'think' they could slip in or out , another blank of different design or change blank when you change locks. Probably wasn't bad idea for its time......
More info or more pics let me know..........300Bucks

GEC Toothpick Snakewood with Saber Grind for trade. Carried twice. Nice knife, just not what I want. I am looking for either a GEC Wharncliff Sleeveboard or GEC single blade Barlow (particularly the Bocote) or anything by Canal Street. Pics available on request. Thanks for the consideration.

Have these couple for trade:

This ones withdrawn for now.

Traded- #73 Scout, Northfield Brown Jigged bone- New in tube. Single blade by GEC with 1095.

After mainly jacks and gents in the 3" - 4" range, with 3 1/2" being ideal. Bone handles preferred, but won`t argue with stag either:D

Also would like to try a GEC Toothpick.

Otherwise, here are some ideas: Gunstocks, Texas Jacks, Swayback Jacks, GEC 25 Jacks or singles, other single 73`s, new Queen Straight Jack, S&M medium Coke Bottle, Queen Copperheads, Barlows, Gents, etc....

PLEASE read the forum guidelines for this thread and respond accordingly. This thread is for LISTINGS only. Respond directly via email or PM to folks who have a knife you are interested in.

If you wish to list a knife of your own for trade you may do so. You must also list what knife or knives you are seeking in return.

However, this thread is not for replies to the offers posted by others. Contact them directly. I don't know how I can make it any clearer than that, folks.

The "Slipjoint Swap Meet":

The Slipjoint "Swap Meet" is intended to be a friendly locale where members can trade their custom or production slipjoints (only) with other members.

The rules are as follows:

1. Only slipjoints may be listed for trade.

2. You must list a knife or knives which you are seeking in return for the knife or knives you are offering.

3. There can be no cash involved. This thread is strictly for trades. Abuse will lead to the closing of the thread and infractions to those who try to circumvent the rules.

4. All contact, discussion and subsequent negotiation involving any knife listed MUST be handled privately via email or PM...not within the thread.
Therefore, make sure that your email is current and available to those seeking to contact you.

5. Please edit your original post upon completion of a trade so that it indicates that the knife is no longer available.

6. Do not "bump" or delete and subsequently re-list your knives in the swap meet. If you haven't received any contact feel free to list the knife in the "Exchange" area of the site.

All other knives or items that you wish to offer for sale or trade should be directed to the proper area of bladeforums.com (ie the exchange sections of the website).
Likewise, any feedback from transactions deriving from the "swap meet" must be posted in the "Feedback" section of bladeforums.com

I hate to let this one go, but would like something a tad smaller in the pocket to use as a dress knife. It is used (about 1 year old) with some natural patina, but not abused and I'm seeking a like condition for trade:

Case Baby Butterbean (Any steel is fine, but CV is preferable if they make them in it.)

email for pics if interested.
