As for the accusations of slander, There is nothing false in what I am saying. I have video evidence.

Sloth has yet to admit any wrong doing

"It came like that from Darrels"
"It was fine when I sent it out"

He keeps on using the two above excuses to avoid any responsibility in the matter

No refund was ever offered to me
 
You are skipping the part about ME PAYING FOR IT TO BE FIXED TO YOUR LIKING. Not just send it back to Darrel. Please INCLUDE EVERY DAMN WORD when quoting me.

You have my address. Send it off. Again, if you don't trust me, then we are at a stand off. And about Paypal, that will just end up in the money moving to your account for a bit, then back to mine after Paypal takes it back from the charge back from your credit. That won't help you and be a waste of time. I've already contacted paypal about the ways this could play out and it won't be a win for you and I would rather make this a win win not a lose for you. But I don't think anyone believes that because this is the INTERNET and everyone jumps on the train like lemmings.

You expect me to mail you the knife first? I already said I won't be taking any action through paypal. I wont be taking any action at all. I'll take the loss and move on. I just want people to know what to expect when dealing with you

It seems to me he is trying to appease you. You both need to meet 1/2 way.
 
I think Sloth deserves a fair chance to make this right! And I kinda agree his name has been smeared here without giving the guy a chance. Do u honestly think someone wud sell a knife like that knowing its lockup issue? God i hope not! But he is saying he is willing to work to make this right! I ll give him that! And looking at his feedback history I think its highly unlikely that he wud all of a sudden try to rip someone off!

Nothing I have said is false, I presented the facts, there has been no name calling or insults.
If he was trying to appease me, I would have a notification email from paypal by now.

Well, we'll be in touch. Oh and I never said I wouldn't work on a refund for you. You just decided to jump ahead and start this bashing before I could suggest it. Then you emailed me about wanting a refund after you said no thanks. Now you are back to the no thanks. I'm getting tired of this. Make up your mind, I'm only here to defend my name as it was fine until you came along. I'm emailing you my responses as well.

He hasnt ripped me off, If he had I would have filed a dispute throught paypal. He lied about the condition of the item he was selling. When I aked him about it, his answers were rotating between "It was fine when I shipped it out" and "It came like that from Darrels"

Ive made very clear since my second email, before I came on the GBU that I WANT a refund.
 
.... First, bigboss just flies off the handle and said he didnt want a refund and I said I'd try to make things right. Then he goes and posts all this crap and in my for sale posts. THEN without resolving anything he keeps slamming me.. I'll said I'd work with him and now everyone is bashing me. WOW. fu all on that note.

If someone says he'll make it right and then the other side just keeps going.. and now everyone is pissed.. the incentive to make shit right is lacking. But hey, everyone here seems to just attack without knowing what the hell is going on first and bigboss could have ASKED before making assumptions. Everyone posting here needs to back the f off and realize this isn't over as bigboss needs to speak to me and not just piss me off and expect I will just bow to his needs as he and everyone else slanders my name here. Talk about jumping lashing out without cooling off.


You once again fail to see the issue. The buyer isn't happy, in which case it is only right to give him a refund. No matter how much he "pisses you off.' Not helping him because he is rubbing you the wrong way is childish.

It was fine when I shipped it. So, here again, same claims. You just keep mixing it up to continue smearing. You want a refund or not. I keep saying lets continue this in email and you keep bringing it back. I'll sit here for another 2hours defending myself. Your first post you editted. Before editting it you said, YOU DID NOT WANT A REFUND. I still am offering a fix, but it will require you to send it back to me first.

The Paypal claim won't do anything. Your credit card will do a charge back. I'll file a claim with Paypal, Paypal defends the seller first. I have proof you received the knife. There is no formal invoice. Paypal gets the money back into my account. Money will go from me to you and back to me and it will take about a month. You file a claim, you lose. I don't care for that much as I am no thief nor care to rip anyone for $350, price you paid for that knife...

You want resolve, apologize for jumping on my name and posts and send me the knife back in the same condition I sent it to you. Otherwise I don't know what else to do.

You sold me a bad knife and you still wont admit it. I am not out to smear your name, I merely told people exactly what happened. You yourself are smearing your own name, by not accepting responsibility for your actions. A quick refund would have put a early stop to this. Now you expect me the guy that got screwed, to ship you the knife first and apologize to you???

And how can anybody expect the person that got screwed in the previous transaction to send out his share first for the next transaction?

Plus he has made it clear there will be no deals unless I apologize to him. For What????

If he doesnt refund you, you take him to small claims and i ban him.
If he refunds you and you dont send.....same thing.

Work it out.

But you both need to quit posturing and whining at each other and git 'er done.
 
I bought that knife. I didn't think it was bad. I sold you the knife. You think it is bad. Then blah blah blah.

This is one of my first responses in email:

"Hmm, that doesn't sound like how it was. I did try that as I was unsure of the lockup, but it remained tight. If you are that concerned then I would pay to have it sent back to DDR again and have them make it right for you."

^ Re-reading it I can see that bigboss might have read the "I would pay to have it sent back" part as the I being him. What I was trying to say is that I would pay for the return and adjustments to make it right.

From there to here. Fun times.

Then he bashed me. Then posted he didn't want a refund. Editted that part out of his first post. Then I get an email saying he wants me to refund him. Now he doesn't. Everyone understand. He wants to be difficult after bashing me and I am to just fold? Call it what you want. I keep saying I'll work with him, but after this, he needs to make the first step. And trust is two sided, after this retarded thread, I don't see why I should trust him either. I have better feedback and to me that IS important.

The only as good as your one bad feedback comment.. Give it up. I must be here to build up a persona to rip someone off one time for $350 after spending thousands and dealing with several people over and over again.. Makes sense. I'm going to go run and hide now and hope everyone loves me in the morning again.
