Thanks to all you guys for your help and encouragement and suggestions in finding my knife! I tried most options that were suggested, but to no avail. As you recall I was shooting clays and it was after that that I noticed it was gone. Well it turns out that before shot clays I did a little lawn mower repair. I had to run down the road half a mile to the neighbor who runs a small engine shop to get a replacement choke cable. I was in a hurry to get it fixed so I could shoot clays! I got the mower going and shot a few clays and then my hand brushed my jeans and something felt wrong... Sure enough, no knife!! Fast forward to this afternoon, and the neighbor texts and wonders if I'm missing a pocket knife. I replied that I sure had! He said it was laying in the driveway and he noticed it when he was taking the trash out. I think it must have hooked on something on the pickup when I hopped out to get the parts. Maybe it hooked on the seat belt or maybe it was just in my lap! (you guys don't ever just admire your sebenza while driving do you?) I don't know, but it's found! But.... I didn't get home till just a few minutes ago and they have evening plans so I have to wait till tomorrow morning to pick it up. Then we'll see about posting some pics!
 
Congrats, I'm very happy that you found it.

Sounds like a case of beer finders fee to me, or maybe a decent bottle of booze.
 
Great news that it turned up… I feel somewhat justified in my post that it may not be where you think you lost it,,,, I've gained that insight the hard way with lots of experience loosing things! Woooo Hooooo!!!!
 
Congratulations man. Misplacing CRKs brings about nausea.

Good news.

I once came home from hunting camp missing a favorite knife. I looked everywere and asked the other hunters if maybe it wound up in someone's bag. Well, the next hunting season I was putting on my boots when I noticed something was in one of them. It was the missing pocket knife. Not sure why I put it in a boot.

Glad that it has been located..For sure, it's better to be a member of teh "lost sebenza" club and ejected, than to be a permanent member :)

I know you guys are gonna think I'm crazy, but I haven't found time to go pick up my knife! Things got really busy today with the break in the rain we had today but now it's raining so I hope to find time tomorrow.
