Lovely setup !! WHere'd you find the pocket reference cards ??
I'm interested in watching this thread at the very least.
PS, While I have fond memories of Zippo lighters, I also remember how easily they ran dry with no warning. I'd rather see a Bick Lighter, or a Firesteel of some sort. Preferably both.

Somehow incorporate paracord wrapped around the sheath? I saw a version of that somewhere. Maybe here? Here is another project I have been thinking about
Project 2: Universal sheath...would like some input on features that are important to the end user. I am thinking it needs to be somewhat discreet and ability to be adaptable to different types of gear and bags..I really like the lost mountain type sheath but it looks like they are taking a break..
I'd like to see a plain nylon sheath (with kydex insert) with rows of molle down the front and back both for multiple attachment options. That way the user can put on whatever pouches they choose, or not. I'm not sure the best way to do it but it would be nice to have some kind of adjustable retention strap that didn't involve velcro.

PS, I see my spelling of "Bic" above was incorrect. But at least you can see when the Bic is running out of fluid. Thanks.

all my sheaths have cordage wrapped around them
I agree w/ Scrapmetal's assessment on what a good "universal" sheath would look like- the kydex insert might be the tricky part, you'd want that knife specific
I was thinking it would just ship the way Specops sheaths and/or the former LMIW sheaths did; a "universal" kydex insert that isn't molded is shipped with the sheath, possibly with different sizes for different blade thicknesses, and instructions on how to mold it to your individual knife.
Could also talk to some of the kydex benders here on the board to see if they would be willing to make inserts that were blade specific for more common models, I suppose.
