smoke and prayers needed

Jessy wanted me to thank everyone for all of the smoke and prayers and kind words. She was quite touched. YOU GUYS AND GALS ARE AMAZING.

Jess is out of surgery. In recovery now. It went well. We will know more tomorrow. The tumor was embedded in the speech center. THANK YOU for the support. I will update here tomorrow.

Dr said there would most likely be speech impairment if even only temporary. Jess woke up, in tons of pain but talking with no trouble!!! Now some healing time then on to the Gamma Knife on the smaller tumors. Radiation on the lung/esophogus will start then also, with chemo starting thereafter. One part down successfully, time to exhale a bit. The doctor feels she picked up a carcinogen at some point years ago and this has been slowly growing over many years. Many Thanks to all of you, keep up the good vibes and prayers.

Great news! Modern medicine is amazing, I hope the rest of her treatments go just as well :)

Dan, thank you. You have been awesome. Long road ahead but we are prepared to walk it with her.

That is good news that step one was a success. Heres to the next phase going good as well.

SueZQ, we haven't met (not yet). I guess I may be considered one of the 'Old Guarde'. I've missed the last BLADE and the last few Knob Creeks. I can tell you from experience that The BUSSE family will stand by you. They sure helped me through losing my first wife.

You nhave my prayers and vet best wishes, both for your friend and family, and for you.

God bless

Thank You guys. Things are moving along swiftly. Gamma knife on the 29th, radiation and chemo start on the 3rd, which is ironically her birthday. Love you guys, it has really helped being able to talk about this here.

Don't know how I missed this, but reading the positive updates has a smile on my face.
Smoke & positive thoughts continuously rising for her, and much hope & wishes for more good news!
