I'm sure he would let you use the pictures and make a video about aliens sneaking their eggs into the skulls of the human race if that's why you asked.

snark

I'm sorry. Is there any reason for an attack here? I am trying to enjoy this Forum like everyone else. Read my previous post to you..I was being kind to you, as I am a very kind person. I am serious about knives as my hobby. And am getting real sick and tired of being attacked for absolutely nothing! I would very much so love to be able to be treated like every other human being here on this forum. I would like to talk about knives and share the conversations that are posted here. Why am I not allowed like everyone else to do this without a constant attack, diversion, or some other BS? Some of you people are cold, cruel, and have no compassion for other people in this world who, unlike you, actually do have feelings! Back off and let me be. Thank you very much.

I don't think there was any kind of attack here. If you look at the bottom of his post he said "snark". Which indicates that he was joking (at least partially) that's what this thread is about, we joke around and rag on each other

Seemed quite rude to me as I do not know him. However, I had no idea this was for ragging on each other..sorry! I was trying to be kind and friendly with everyone. Thanks and sorry for disturbing the peace by trying to be kind.

Thank you Blade Girl. It hurt pretty good last night, but scalps heal fast, and its feeling much better tonight.

That's good. I worked in the medical industry from 1994 until 2014...so, naturally, upon seeing your photo, I was interested. Usually, I took care of dying people (hospice) and teenage kids who were dying/in coma/in rehab. But I did see a lot of wounds and so forth. I certainly hope that you get feeling better!!!! It looks very painful and no fun! Just make sure to keep it clean and don't touch it when you do not have to...and when you do have to, wash your hands vigorously for 20 seconds first (proper hand washing has a major impact on spread of infection and disease). This sounds silly, but true..never turn your faucet off with your bare hands after washing. Always use a papertowel to turn it off... trust me, you have no idea how many germs and bacteria are living on the faucets. :-) Just trying to help. Good luck and sorry for bugging you guys. Have a great night! :)

It's unfortunate that you feel that way but the point of this thread is random banter with a good dose of friendly ribbing. We all poke at each other and ourselves regularly but it's all in jest. If that's not your thing then you probably won't like the snark threads.

It wasn't an attack, which is why I put snark at the bottom.

Oh, as I said above, i was sorry. Never been here before..so I did not know. I thought WC was the only place for that. My apologies. I was browsing the threads and came across this one and popped in to see what it is. I'm literally getting attacked with BS all over this place as of late. Again, I apologize for disrupting the peace..and i know that sounds rude, but that is not how I mean it. If you don't know someone, and you know they are new (not you personally, but you as in people in general) maybe they should explain that or say, "I'm kidding.." I don't know. Just a thought. I can take it just fine, as I grew up with only a brother if I know someone is just honestly playing around... but if I don't know, and it's been excessive across the board, then naturally, I would have a negative feeling about it. Anyhow, sorry.. and hope you all have a great night and enjoy chatting with each other. And to the other gentleman, I hope your wound heals great and that you feel better soon!

I did't know what a snark meant. Please read my previous posts to you here..I know they fall out of order and you probably did not see. However, understand on my end that I am new and did not know..and that I am getting attacked about the same BS from many trolls here. But if you were truly just joking around, then I apologize. I did not know. You may joke as much as you want with me..but I don't know you, don't know this thread, and did not know it was a joke. Peace... and hope you get feeling better.:)

I hate to say it, but it has been a couple years since I bought a Becker. I reckon it is about time to pay Mr. Dex Withers a visit.

Well here's an unofficial welcome to the BK&T section of this beautiful website that we inhabit Blade Girl. You just so happened to stumble on the PG13 version of W&C ;) If you decide to hang out here long enough you'll realize that us Beckerhead's (and those inspiring to be) are the best people on this site ;) I may be bias in my opinion tho :D

Do it.

After fondling my BK5 for the past day, I'm itching to get it out in the woods. It may become a new fav.!

... I am new ...
Well then ... WELCOME to the BK&T sub-forum!

We're a lot nicer than the rest of "those people" in the other sub-forums. Well ... most of us are ... er, uh ... at least I am. ;)

So ... pull up a log closer to the fire and join in!

Here we go now....

Getting ready for fixed blade Friday :D

snark
I'm quite sure there is a back story here that I just don't know.... I'm actually quite curious as to what the hell it could be though!

I think we may have missed a couple steps along the way! :p(<-- I was joking)... In the snark thread it's mostly recommended to pull up a rocking chair to the fire, pass the moonshine, don't look when a breeze catches Moose's skirt, and get a thick skin. That being said, welcome to the snark thread. Fire starters on the left, dynamite on the right. Have fun!

Thank you Blade Girl. It hurt pretty good last night, but scalps heal fast, and its feeling much better tonight.
DUDE! THORNY! Stop giving away the secrets! People aren't going to believe you when you say it hurts but good! They usually have to pay extra for that!

20 years hospice?! Ok, never mind about the developing a thick skin, you've got it! At least I'm pretty sure you'd have to!

I was recently at a hospital that did NOT have automatic faucets, but DID have automatic hand dryers. I'm sure you can imagine how upset that got me! Thankfully I keep foaming cleaner in my day bag.

No MOAR drama!!

.... wait a second, forgot a couple little guys.
You need a hobby! Jeez someone is going to think you have a problem, displaying all those weapons at one time!

Was reading an article on climbing nutrition. Found this entertaining.

there's a LOT of good science and nutrition behind using real beer (not that ultra-light-watered-down-post-pocessed swill in a can from ABMiller........) as a recovery drink. lots of electrolytes, protein, trace minerals, complex carbs, and b vitamins in a format that your body can recognize and assimilate quickly, without overloading your kidneys with salts and HFCS.

granted, this is based on 1-2 servings, not 12.......
