This wood is ridiculous. With the wet BLO it was really stunning.

Nice work Daizee. ive never worked with ebony. have wanted to. But just havent got around to it.

tradewater, I don't think that stuff you sent me is a lubricant.

In Barlow, when you give someone pinetar it's considered a marriage proposal.

I wish i could drink eggnog, about 4 years ago i drank way too much at a christmas party....threw up out a car window going 75 on a highway. I cant even smell the stuff anymore without feeling queazy.

I Love some nog:D But if I smell peach snapps I wanna puke...Lmao. We were in a cabin in Colorado and ran out of everything else...but our host loved peach, so he had a ton of it. ugh...Just thinking of it..

Thanks, fellas. It's a little odd in a couple ways, but it's just for me. :)

Todd, I've read you have to be careful about not letting it overheat. I tried to be careful - hopefully it won't crack. It's pretty hard stuff and it just soaked up BLO.

I want something I can stick my Bk2 in, along with some fatwood, or some kind of tinder, sharpening stuff, a small amount of builion(spell that right?) tea, or food, fishing stuff, and a few medical supplies. any suggestions?

I made a figure four deadfall with some pencils with my bk2 last night. (didn't have any toothpicks) I had to try it, since I saw Moose's post! it worked great, and the bk2's amount of control is jut amazing! I freakin love this knife. and after trying the same thing with my CRKT M16, and being alot less successful, I kinda hate my M16....Haha, don't get me wrong, it is a tactical knife, but I hate tantos now, and I hate serrations(mostly) now. Haha, anyone wanna take it off my hands for something small?

Dude, that rock is even nicer than the first!
Do you make them yourself? you should sell them, I bet there's a market for really nice rocks.
