My preference is for the hard top. It's more secure, warmer, and quieter. I don't like the sun on my head anyway. Had both, prefer the solid one. Too bad it's such a pig on gas.

I love Founder's breakfast stout!

Yeah, the front end problem is that they're hideous! Not mechanical, just an aesthetics issue for me. I haven't dropped the top on mine since I got the Harley. The doors and windows are always off in the summer though. I have a hard top on right now.

Just saw on the news Hostess is going out of business. A world without Twinkies and Ho-Hos. Damn.

Yeah one of their plant's here in town has been on strike all week. It's Dolly Madison here, but owned by Hostess. I used to go over Friday morning there and pick up the doughnuts for my welding class in highschool.

man, I really dug the dolly madison line, too. They were the only fat-inducing snacky cakes that weren't safe for vegetarians (so naturally, I approved of this.)

I guess it's time to band together and support our cupcake slinging bakeries before they go the way of the dodo. :D </snerk>

were it me, I would stick to the devil you know. Working for a corporation is unstable and susceptible to layoffs/downsizing as well as a lot of other bad noise. I would stick it out and use your raises from interpreting to buy a solid healthcare package of your own choosing. You can buy healthcare, but you can't buy a work environment that isn't so full of red tape that you can't move. Besides, people will always need interpreters.
 
Hostess will probably just restructure, go non-union, and come back withe the same Zombie Apocalypse stable food they had out before.
 
No more twinkies! Damn man, you just cant have anything nice in this world anymore.
