Some of y'all don't visit General or Knife Laws often, but there's a thread in General by Critter (Doug Ritter, founder of Knife Rights) and one in Knife Laws by me about Texas HB 1935.

The bill is scheduled to have a committee public hearing on Monday, 03 April.

Passage of the bill would eliminate the term "illegal knife" from the Texas Penal Code, doing away with knife length limitations and the prohibitions on double edged blades and "bowie knives".

Please read one or both of the threads and contact the committee members, especially if you live or work in, or visit Texas.

Thanks.

Thanks, Zzy. I nearly missed this one. I'll make a call. Here's to hoping it passes and we get those restrictions removed.

Thanks, Dunk! The dog is smitten. Worries about her fussing, will come and get us if she's crying, comes in and checks on her as soon as she comes back inside from a walk or trip out and may God have mercy on you if you're a stranger that decides to approach the baby without specific authorization.

But yea... I can tell she wants some extra attention when I get home from work. Last night she crawled up on my lap and expected me to hold her like a baby. I explained to her that she's a 60# dog now and not a little puppy, but she sat there with her ears back and eyes as big as she could manage................. So, I obliged her.

Jerry, they used to call 'em nanny dogs. Ours are great with our grandson. They act pretty well exactly as you described, but need their attention too. Congrats BTW. Good lookin' kid and dog!

Seems my youngest has the knife bug. He'll be three in June. Today he wanted into my EDC drawer and wanted to open and see all the knives. After we went down stairs and he wished to help me with the salad.

I'd say he's not really mine, but this proves he is better then a DNA test.....

He's starting a little earlier then his siblings.

Looks like I need to tell the wife to stock up on more bandages and first aid supplies.

That's awesome TBL!
My little girl is 7 now so I'm trying to let her use knives more.
She's pretty responsible, but I still have to keep a close eye. :D

RIP Snark. You died from cuteness overload. There certainly are worse ways to go.

Send a third-stage Guild Navigator to Kaitain to demand details from the Emperor.
The Snark must flow...
