I hear ya on the blue cbear. I've been on disability for the past four months, and my wife just finished building her dream kitchen. Money is a little tight right now.

Understood! Kitchen looks great!

Thanks brother! Seems like all those years of watching HGTV paid off ;). She designed it herself and sourced it all. Unfortunately due to my injury we had to let someone else build it. All we are waiting for is the backsplash, then we need to paint and it's all done. Due to the crazy housing market in our area it upped the value of the house by almost 200k. We ain't selling but it's nice to know what we can get for it now hehe

Hey Vik!

The pipe you made is pretty amazing. Smokes surprisingly well! The diameter is spot-on, but the depth of the chamber could be 1/2 inch shorter. Nothing wrong with how it is now, just need to pack it with more tobacco!

um, OK - but I'm not sure what size hole that was. 29mm?
as to chamber depth, I was pretty sure it was overkill deep at the time, but you can always cut it down a little. ;)

I'll get you some measurements right now! And dimensions in mm – you are a man of many talents!

OK, just measured the chamber depth – 45 mm.

For comparison, I have pipes with diameters ranging from 20 mm up to 25 mm. Chamber depths are all over the map and one of my larger pipes has a depth of 40 mm. So your pipe actually has some reasonable proportions – it's just on the larger end of the pipe spectrum.

Why do I feel a bit dirty after writing that last sentence...

Sweet kitchen brother. My favorite room in the house. If that was my kitchen I could put a hammock in the corner and it could be the only room in my house. My kitchen is the room I spend the most time in and it looks nothing like yours.

Has anyone else used a Bear Butt Hammock? I got one the other week, and set it up (using the suspension from another hammock) and it held ~650 lbs no problem. My buddy and I both got into it. The hammock itself didn't stretch, however the suspension "friction welded" itself in a couple spots it looked like... OOOPS! However for $30 it was not that disappointing.

I got one after you told about them when I asked about hammocks. I'm 6'3 and 225 and it fits me just fine. Haven't slept in it yet but I plan to as soon as the nights warm up a bit. Loving it so far.

I recall a few of y'all saying you watched The Walking Dead a long time ago. Anyone still watch it? I'm trying to find a free and non pirate-y way to watch season 7.

Dawson are you using the caribiners that came with it? I just don't really trust them since they don't lock.

I've watched everything through Season 6, haven't touched Season 7 yet, not sure if I will or not. I have been keeping up with the updates though (not concerned with spoilers) and I have gotten the impression that it is pretty rough...

Still watching it, but this season feels very manipulative. At times it feels like a car wreck – you want to look away, but you can't

Thanks!! I just cant wait until its all done and we can entertain family and friends again.

Noswad - download the Kodi program to your computer and you can pretty much watch anything. I have an android box that runs it and I also have it installed on the computer.

Yep. They're doing well so far.

Yeah I've seen a couple spoilers, seems like a couple of my top 5 favorites got killed off. :/

I've heard that it's not a great season (but a few friends say that they like it, so I dunno).

I'll check that out, thanks!

And this would be a problem...why?

My solution is to not waste time watching TV. I waste plenty enough as it is looking at the internet. Plus, no one will ever be on their deathbed regretting that they didn't watch more TV - or that they missed the last season of....whatever.
That being said, I did install (and maintain - see pic) an antenna (because the rest of the fam wanted to watch "the Voice". Even in my decidedly non-OTA (60 miles from Boston, same from Portland, ME) broadcast area, I pick up ~50 channels....and there still ain't much on. Still, besides the equipment cost (~1 month's cable bill, before I cut the cord), it's free. And anything free is worth what you pay for it.

Me, repairing my antenna mast that folded over during our little weather event 2 weeks ago (with a blurry ZT0456):

I had an antenna on my roof in Denver for ten years and got about 40 channels for free in HD. If you get the signals then that is the way to go. I also did Slingtv for a while and conceptually it is great but service quality was continuously a problem so I canceled it. Now I live hours from the closest tv broadcast tower and even with the biggest antennas I would maybe get a PBS channel. TVfool.com is a great website for determining what signals you can get and what the strength should be. It gets very technical with graphs and everything. Really an impressive website. Earth is the big signal killer. If there is a mountain between you and the tower you won't get much. All I have now is Netflix and Amazon and don't even watch them but the wife and son do. Alone, Forged in Fire and American Ninja Warrior are the only shows I have much interest in and when it comes right down to it I can live without the last two. I have been asking my wife if we can have a TVless house for years now but she his hanging on pretty tight. Everyone picks on me for having a 37" TV cause it is so small. That was a big screen tv when I was little. I remember thinking a 32" was huge when I was little.
