I had Pepsi with my breakfast. Went down to the diner and got coutry-fried steak and eggs with hashbrowns and toast and a side of bacon. I've had better but it wasn't bad. I just wish cooks would actually LOOK at the toast before sending it out. I know most people don't realize white bread takes longer to toast that wheat and that most toasters are set for wheat, but if they would just take a second to look at the bread they'd see it wasn't toasted.

Damn amateur bread toasters.

Nothin' pisses me off more than amateur bread toasters.

It isn't hard, this video gives a little bit of insight into the proper creation of toast.

Boundin as its found LA is without my favorite food, boudin blanc but I love bloody things too
That's boudin noir.

I was speaking more directly to sandwiches.

I want to open up an LA sand which shop somewhere north of here where all they have is hoagies, yankees who love hoagies so much would lose their flippin' mind over a po'boy, fully dressed, New Orleans french bread (totally different) stuffed with battered deep fried oysters and slathered with all that filling goodness,

If you like Italian, muffelotta is where its at.

We used to have Po' Boys restaurants here in San Antonio.. nothing like a fried shrimp po boy, yum!

on a side note..

Oh if your talking sandwiches... Philly might have you beat man.... This is the sandwich capitol LMAO

I have been to more than half the states and a handful of other countries... There is a reason it is called a philly cheese steak!!!

When i first got here everyone told me to try out Max's for the best cheese steaks.... so i did, i went and ordered a large with chz wiz, peppers, and onions.... They handed me a 2 foot long sandwich with meat just falling all over the place and I was in LOVE.

This morning I got my Italian hoagie from the corner store. they only have 4 options. I went with the one that shouldnt have mayo on it... I was wrong.

I have been to Louisiana a few times, I love the food, but i wouldnt go there for a sandwich. Po' boys are great but an official cheese-steak is where its at!!!

Pro boys suck if it ain't new Orleans, the bread is totally different, if it don't have that, its just a sanwhich ya know? Like where I live ain't no good for em, just cos its in La don't mean jack

Nobody else do what I did...you dont want to see the picture... he tried to post a naked man.

'hoagie' is a disgusting word, and certainly regional.
I don't eat 'hoagies'. They served me hoagies in public elementary school lunches and I never got over the trauma.

"The Daizee" is my signature sandwich: curry chicken salad, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and pesto on the fancy bread of your choice.

I dare ya.

Also awesome: banh mi. googley.
