That makes me wonder how many beers are affected / dependent on the local water source for their particular taste.. I have heard about big breweries buying small local or european beers and moving production somewhere else and people stop drinking it because it doesn't taste right anymore.
The only reason I know about this is that I worked for the local water management district.
case in point - I used to Like a lot of the stuff Sam Adams produced -- then they got big and moved most of their production to the Iron City Brewery.
Right on.
I thought twice before posting that silly toaster pic the other day, but I should have thought thrice. That was dumb of me, and I apologize for it. Not because I meant to be offensive or devisive, but because it could have taken an unpleasant turn. I'm not here for that.
I'm just here for the knives and the food and the booze, and making pals.![]()
Uh-huh, exactly. You just talked yourself out of your own argumentThere's a pretty good chance that the company I worked for sold your district the chemicals to *ahem* "purify" your water. You probably don't want to know the details.
You should definitely be able to transfer that over and tighten it up, that's usually how it's done anyway.Lmao I tried a BUNCH, but I failed. my hands start cramping up after a while. arthritis.
But a buddy is tying one for me on a cardboard tube, so maybe I can transfer it over and tighten it up.
Where is the NE gathering?
