I really don't get it either, and apparently that is the generation right behind mine. That being said, I don't get it! I really don't get it. I'm with you why is "twerking" a word? When I was young it was "torquing" and it was cause you were doing something that needed to get torqued down, like working with your hands!

Why was she upside down? Is that supposed to show how coordinated she is? Cause OBVIOUSLY she isn't!

As some of you guys might know, I love my 5.11 Rush 24. After 1 1/2 years, the back plate has really started to give in to the daily abuse, as a result the pack is sagging away from my body unless it's fully loaded, which rarely occurs. It's pretty large for an EDC pack.

I contacted 5.11 on facebook on tuesday. They're sending my free replacement back plate out today. To Germany. I'm impressed.

I want to recut the video with the thun-thun-thun bird afterwards.

lol, had to look that one up :D

that is awesome, I have a rush 12 that I really like. Good to know the company is good for customer service!

One of my teachers told our class that the room smells like weed after everybody leaves. Everybody slowly turned to the pothead in the class (not me!). I found it pretty funny, she also said that the deans will come down one day and search everybody. That I do not like.

she's probably bent that someone's holding out...

Well cut myself again, eventually I'll learn not to play with my Beckers..

Also, I've come to the conclusion that fixed blades are more dangerous than pocket knives as you don't feel as compelled to play with pocket knives, at least not in the same way.

I've had pocket knives my entire life and have never cut myself aside from sharpening or the blade folding on my fingers..

Yet now as an adult I always have a cut on me somewhere.

My victorinox has only cut me once since owning and that was opening/closing it but I've been bit by Beckers twice in under a month and many tines by kabars before that.

Then again I've never been cut by my Mora as I've always handled it properly.

Maybe its just the style of knives you choose but there's something about a large chunk of 1095Cro-Van that just makes you want to fondle it/twirl it around, flip it from hand to hand, chop at air, ect..

Idk, just sayin

Quit tryin' to juggle the damn things....sheesh

Doc

daizee beat me to it.... oh well great minds think alike.

I just signed up for myfitnesspal yesterday, still getting used to it.. trying to log my workouts, seems like once you do it a few times it gets easier to do. What do you use to help with the calorie counting? I just have a hard time estimating how much is in what I cook.

I either weigh with a food scale, scan UPC labels (mobile app), or rely on the database info. Sometimes I have to do best-guess equivalents.

Other than beer, I've only had one drink (excepting college days I don't recall) at an Applebees. Perfect Patron Margarita, I believe it was. Pretty tasty.

So I got the ritter bk12 in the mail today. I'm unsure why, but my first impressions leave me very disappointed.

Send it to me and I'll figure it out.

Lmao, I think I'll pass

That sucks man, what is you dont like, the overall feel?

Yea, exactly! I've wanted this knife since I first found beckers. For a while, I didn't even know it was still for sale new. When I opened it up, checked it out, and then I just had to put it back in the bag. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice razor sharp chunk of steel, I just think maybe I built up too much hype in my head. For all the extra dough, It just didn't have that "I need to take it out with me next time" feel that the 9 or 16 gave me.

Anyone here ever use plastidip spray? I tried using it on the grill surround on my pickup yesterday and it turned out like crap. The good thing is that the stuff just peels right off, so it was just a few wasted dollars. I'm kinda thinking it was just too warm out and it was drying too fast.

If you look around the net there are lots of folks painting their cars wheels and even whole cars with spray on plasti dip, if I remember correctly success depends a lot on the prep work....
