A buddy of mine plasti-dipped his car rims and was totally ecstatic about it. I mean he was giddy to the core over it. I didn't have the heart to tell him it looked like spray-on shit.

well they call it twerking now, but puertorricans girls have been doing that to the beat of reggaeton for over 20 years. Guess someone had to put a goofy name to it.

I was taking my inspiration from a bunch of those threads and YouTube. I cleaned the heck out of the grill before I started. It adhered well and when I peeled it off the inside looked great. The surface of it ended up looking like crap. Even with using the glossifier it was still matte. It was 90ish here when I painted,, so I'm kinda thinking it was just drying too fast..
 
damn - I go to a funeral and you folks kill one thread and run through half the next!

apparently it's fashionable to say that twerking is a cultural black thing and anyone doing it without permission is guilty of cultural appropriation...

guess the Brazilians shouldn't have started doing it a couple 2-3 decades ago :>
