Same here. Just doesn't make sense really, the more I think about it. The wife and I want to down size anywhos. We're talking about getting rid of all kinds of stuff. I told my son, and my step kids to not get me a thing for Christmas. There's nothing I need. I don't really like that people get me something, merely for the sake of getting it. I understand, just trying to be practical, and sensible. I think I'm gonna eventually sell many of my blades. I'll keep a BK9 for my chopper, Bk2, because, well, it's a BK2, TOPS BOB for my "tweener", ESEE 3 for my next size down, and Candiru for my small blade. That's even overkill really.

There is another type of netty pot that is more like a squeeze bottle and is supposed to get the lower sinuses as well as the upper, and it's a little easier to manage. The squeeze action generates more pressure, so it's got a lot more powah! Definitely worth looking into if you have regular sinus issues. You'd be amazed the crap that will come out when you do it.

Or ever just straight water. Just water helped me out. They're trying to pass it off as something you should do daily like brushing your teeth. But brushing your teeth is painless and doesn't make you snot all over yourself.

I used one like that when I was having allergy problems really bad. It helped but man did forcing water up your nose suck big time. Also be sure to sterilize the water because there is a small chance you could get a fatal infection by shoving tap water up your nose.

I like epsom salts for lots of uses, but I cannot bring myself to snort liquid. I will have to take your word on that!

Not-entirely-off-topic... I used to know some serious cokeheads who swore by saltwater "nasal douches" to clean the gunk out of their noggins... insane drug-abuse connotations notwithstanding, the concept has a long history. Again... I'll take your word for it ;)
 
I like the packets that come with the Neilmed kit. They neutralize the chlorine and such in the water and make it ph neutral so its less uncomfortable. Also disinfects it.

Same with me bro. I'm gonna start getting rid of some gear that will never be used. I've got tons of bushcraft equipment that just sits and is never used, so ill probably just trade the stuff for other gear i need or just take cash. Somebody else might need it.
