Ontario Tak-1 with hand shaped micarta And Rowen made DPX hest original fixed blade are headed my way :)

Some how I keep ending up with more knives in the 3-5" range. I really want me another chopper but somehow keep getting smaller knives.

I want another BK9 but man that sale was over QUICK. Or id like a RTAK2 or Junglas. Needs me another CHOPPA

I have all kinds of equipment too, but most of it stays in my BOB.

I just finished up all the "Brooklyn NINE-NINE" episodes that are available so far and that show is pretty funny!! Now I just started watching the "marvel" "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" show, Its ok so far but im still on the 1st episode.

Watched the movie "escape plan", and that was good. Different than most prison escape movies. I enjoyed it.

Im not great with an axe, I do better with a large knife when it comes to chopping. I do have a nice swamp rat hawk, and i have a hatchet. I dont use the hatchet for much except hammering down stakes. The hawk I just use to destroy stuff, or throw it, mostly I throw it, but when i want to demolish something for no reason, the hawk works well for it.

I do like the way a lot of those axes look though.

I wanted to like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D but I found it a bit too childish. Maybe I was hoping for too much...

Yea its ok, nothing is happening that really grabs my attention though. The pilot, or 1st episode should be the attention getter. A lot of times its one of the best episodes. SO if the rest of these episodes are worse than this 1st one its going to be impossible for me to watch. But im hoping for some crazy twist or deep character plot or something... Im hoping LOL

Nice, I just got a Rowen HEST and I like it so far. Size-wise it's kinda like the BK14 with full size handle I've always wanted.

They still have a sick deal on the HEFT 4 that some guys here took advantage of, I'm still tempted.

When I first got into knives and was only buying Beckers I use to look at the Hest original all the time, I liked it a bunch I just couldnt get myself to spend 100 on a knife the size of the BK14. But hell now I wish all my knives cost 100, even the cheaper ones can cost 100 if it means the expensive ones go down to 100 too LMAO.

And I looked for the HEFT 4 but it seemed to be sold out, if its the same deal with the magazine and everything.

Really i need to trade off a couple smaller ones for a chopper and stop looking at 3-5" blades for a while. But nice knives always scream my name and my memory is SHOT, if i dont have it written down in front of me i will forget it, so i see something I like and forget about what i was really going after.

I didn't expect to see superheroes like Cpt America, Ironman, Thor, etc etc. I did expect them to be chasing down Extremis left-overs though. Ironman 3 just left that aspect of Marvel wide-assed open. I think the show is cool, and my kids really really like Agent Phil more than they like the standard superhero types. So, just from that point of view the show is a Win.

As a matter of fact, my son is going as Ironman for Halloween, and since I'm taking him, and I have a black suit, I have to be Agent Phil. It'll be fun and less labor intensive than some of my former costumes: Jedi, Batman, 80's hairband member, Vampire, Zombie

Ok I need a sheath like this awesomeness below. But I can only get 1 new sheath and want a sheath for 2 knives.. The Potbelly and my Chopweiler. Now my Potbelly has custom bocote wood scales that i think would match this PERFECT, but he also said he can do black as well... which would match my chopweiler GREAT.

Both are sitting in nylon sheaths right now and fit fine. The chopweiler is in a kabar BK7 sheath and the Potbelly is in its factory sheath. I like the becker sheath better than the potbelly sheath, so i think i should replace the potbelly sheath. But the chopweiler is my favorite blade so i really want it to have a great sheath.

Man decisions are tough, what would you do???

Just got home from supper. Holy crap on a stick. This is what I've learned about Effingham. 1, no one can tell me where the factory WAS, so no rooting around in there for me. 2, there is NOTHING decent to eat here. Everything is "fast food" and disgusting! 3, there is NOTHING to do here, except work!

I'd go potbelly, given the fact I have never seen a potbelly kydex sheath before and also, if it's in more desperate need for a new one...Just seems like the way to go.
