Snark it like you stole it!

I like epsom salts for lots of uses, but I cannot bring myself to snort liquid.

You don't actually snort it. You just kinda pour it in there and let it run out the other nostril. Still uncomfortable though.

Yeah, friend sent me that link after I first tried it. Luckily I'm still here. Instruction on mine say you can use tap water if you boil it first.

I want another BK9 but man that sale was over QUICK. Or id like a RTAK2 or Junglas. Needs me another CHOPPA

RTAK II is not bad but the handle is kinda blocky. Not a huge problem if you have a sander to work the scales over. If you check the one place that had the cheap BK9's they usually have good deals on RTAK II's too.

Need/want - what's the difference?

This man gets it.

I have to hit the yard sales this weekend. I need a really good axe.

I've had my eye on a Condor Woodworker's axe for a while now. I've been generally pleased with Condor's products so far and I've heard good things about their axes as well. Probably gonna have it in my next order from the river.

That is thé best looking 17 I've seen. Ever. Period.
The patina! Those scales! Pfffff. Wow, just wow.

Thanks but the scales are just ordinary green canvas micarta. Only thing that might set them aside is that I left them pretty beefy in comparison to the stock ones. I got the patina idea from Moose.

25-30kt winds directly on our starboard beam, combined with some big rollers are making the final approach to St. John's harbor a little more exciting. Dishes were not yet sliding off the tables in the mess when I left breakfast, but close. I expect our sat dish to be jammed by all the local microwave stations blasting across the harbor again while we're at the dock.

Yeah, that's a great looking 17 and sheath. Only thing that would improve it is a straight clip. ;)

Watched all of the available agents of shield show and I like it ok. Its not GREAT, but its not bad either, good enough to keep watching for now.

there is a fine line between x-men mutants and superheros, can't cross the line... so far looks like a good show. I wonder what the deal is with Phil Coulson... you think he might be a clone?

OH YA WORLDWOOD EMPTY YOUR MAIL BOX, TRYING TO SEND YOU SOMETHING:grumpy:

I've thought about doing that and turning it more into a mini 7 but the 17's clip isn't to curved in the first place so I left it alone.

The sheaths look great bud!! And i know first hand how well they work. I need to fly to australia and bring some more blades for you LMAO

That's what the mail system is for :D.

Beautiful work as always Cam. That 17 rig is awesome.

Thanks Trade.

that 17 blade finish looks cool! nice sheaths and I think your 9 is showing signs of Balding...

I decided I didn't want to fully strip it so sprayed some stripper on the main working section. Hey, naturally letting it strip itself was taking too long...

Nice work Cam.

Cheers Dubz...

I think Cam needs to come to America and open a Santa's workshop! Making all the Beckerheads boys and girls happy!

Same here. Just doesn't make sense really, the more I think about it. The wife and I want to down size anywhos. We're talking about getting rid of all kinds of stuff. I told my son, and my step kids to not get me a thing for Christmas. There's nothing I need. I don't really like that people get me something, merely for the sake of getting it. I understand, just trying to be practical, and sensible. I think I'm gonna eventually sell many of my blades. I'll keep a BK9 for my chopper, Bk2, because, well, it's a BK2, TOPS BOB for my "tweener", ESEE 3 for my next size down, and Candiru for my small blade. That's even overkill really.

Last year the wife and I sold our house and cleared out about 75% of what we owned at the time. I have been downsizing my "toys" since then too. I think decluttering and downsizing makes you fell better.. some stress leaves you. I am about the same level as you are at now. 9, 15, 24, 11, I have a Landi bushcraft knife and a candiru also. I have a few sentimental knives that I don't use and won't sell, but I will probably downsize some more in the future. I have the BK10 that I won recently and I am still trying to decide how I feel about it, so far when I have used it, I feel like I would rather have the 9 in hand.. it may end up in my BoB or be given away to someone else.

We talk about this stuff all the time. We look around the house, and see all the knick knack type stuff, etc, that doesn't even serve a purpose. People have become so materialistic, that you see all these storage units popping up all over the place, so people can pay to store the stuff they don't even use to begin with. Makes no sense. I don't know about where you live, but around here, you can't drive anywhere without seeing the storage units.

Yup i think about that stuff all the time. I bought a kayak, used it 2 times in almost 3 years. I loved it but due to the wifes job and school, and due to the location im in, I sold it for knives. I havent regretted it once.I made only 40 bucks less than I paid and then bought a couple sweet knives. I have sold a bunch of other crap i wasnt using too for knives. Hell if i didnt sell stuff Id only have 2 knives still LMAO
