Oh its raining today and I was ready to go shoot. Then the wife says "uh your not going anywhere after work except to my brothers birthday dinner. All you will have time for is a shower. I don't wanna see you anywhere near any guns or knives."

Oh and the RBK is due in today.

Seems like it may be worth sleeping on the couch.....

"Honey, I don't understand why you're upset? I sent your brother an e-card and everything....."

Seriously, I would

Compromise! Just shoot in the dark after the shindig.

Train in the rain, damn zombies won't care about rain, take the Reinhardt and make a shelter first since you will need one after the wife is done.

I get most of the tracking info after my package is delivered...

+ a zillion

That always happens. The worst with usps is when the update tracking and say its at your local PO but missed today's delivery because they had their thumbs up their asses and forgot to load it. No wonder they're bankrupt. When i worked at UPS, EVERY package had to go out. Period. I was a supervisor and had to deliver packages to drivers that were left behind.

Maybe that's what happened, missed the delivery. Tracking said out for delivery at 10:49am (this status was changed of course around 3pm)..... nothing in the box :grumpy:

I mean, English is only my first language, but "Out for Delivery" sure sounds like..... hmm, how do I say this..... the package is not in the post office and in the process of being delivered. Oh well, as long as it's delivered tomorrow. Otherwise I wouldn't get it until tomorrow.

It's not even that I'm too impatient to wait another day. It's just disappointing to expect delivery that day and then nothing. [end pitty party] :D

Delivery confirmation from the post office is just proof it was delivered, It's not meant as tracking info like UPS or Fedex. I shipped a bit over 12k packages last year, I especially like the packages that disappear into the usps black hole of lost package land, with the equally fun buyer pissedoffness that soon follows.

"If it ain't rainin', we ain't trainin'"
"How come we never roadmarch on pretty days?"
"Seems like the sarnt only wants to go to the field when the weather's shitty"
"I don't know, but there an 80% chance of rain, and 100% chance we'll be out in it"

Just somethings I've heard before.

Go shoot it. Build you a little shelter to shoot from. :D

Moose

I've heard all that before. It's all true, especially the last part. Clich go shoot, you're only related to her by marriage anyway right?

Anyone got some suggestions for a good lightweight hiking sleeping bag? I have the military sleep system but I generally only use that for camping since it weighs like 10+ pounds.

My brother had a sweet one that weighed next to nothing, can't remember the brand now. I'll text him

Packing for my trip, this is as far as I got
