Flander Fountain had those jet boils on clearance the other day. Didn't get one though. This cook set was only $15.

i got the "christmas kit" on sale. it was something like 60-80% off. which means it was more like $45

then i spent $10? on the extended base stand. jerks.

Got a 24oz Stanley cook set tonight: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Stanley-Camp-Cook-Set?p=10578909#post10578909

That's awesome, never seen one!

I been trying to decide between the Stanley set (that nests with a GSI canteen cup - and the lid fits it as well) and the Coleman anodized aluminum set. (2 pots, 2 "pans" that double as mugs or lids for the pots, roughly $10 more than the stainless Stanley pot)

i still have my aluminum boyscout set. good times. i believe someone being snarky etched the word "killer" into it.

wouldn't mind a well crafted nesty Ti set, but they tend to be $$$

polymer pistols?
M&P? No
XD/XDM? No
GLOCK? Yes Yes Hell Yes!

That is all I have to say 'bout ''plastic'' handguns.

I want one of those Stanley sets! looked today for one at stallvart, didnt have any in stock but they did have a cool new Stanley nalgene/guyot type bottle. Was interesting design, I shoulda bought one for testing, will pick one up next time Im there.

Swapped the liners from my 2 to my 9, now both are about same grip size...feels gooooood.

I got the materials ready, gonna attempt some homemade bluejean micarta soon.

Yeah, the 9 is definitely too small in the hand, imo.

Nice wind screen. :D

just some random picture i found, but i liked it.

we lost power for many days last winter, and i was on my porch with my camp stove making food and hot water.

good stuff

Look at this little lady I found a picture of:

so I just took the thumbramp off my 9...

figured I better utilize the tools while I'm at my Dad's. I like it way better without, which I knew I would.

No pics yet, hughesnet at my parent's place and it SUCKS!

Murdered the rest of my Machaxen stash. I think I still have 12 cents still rolling around in the fund bucket. Oh well, I should get some good use out of this pair.
