I was thinking along the same lines. If my chute doesn't deploy, my survivors will have solid grounds for litigation.

Get one of those old, second-hand execution seats from the '60s and '70s. With a little wrench-work, you should be able to re-purpose the little JATOs used to launch the seats.

That way, your chute would definitely deploy.:D

[Woops! Ejection ... I mean "ejection" ... not "execution."]

Rented a zombie flick last night. "The Dead". Not your usual zombie fare and rather good.

Heathens! :D

You lubricate your sharpening stone with heathens? Brilliant!

No, no your doing it all wrong. Don't tell her about it, You just wrap it up and make it a gift. Girls love getting presents for no reason lol

I've got this weird reverse situation:
I talked about making a paring knife, she was interested, I did so. And I made a beater of a chef's knife - she won't use either one because I ranted about immediate washing/drying and doesn't want to be implicated in rusting 'em.

So she continues to use the stainless Henckel's instead...
Looks like I have to make some stainless kitchen knives.... But... but.... erg.

As for those who are having problems with the lady of the house abusing knives, just tell her you're going to wear her dress shoes in the mud so they have to go to the cobbler every time you use 'em. Maybe that will help convey the message.

The concentrated brow sweat of heathens makes for the ultimate stone hone.

Truck question for the longboarders. 150 or 180 Randals? I'm leaning toward the greater stability of the 180's. Please discuss.

Any of you folks following Top Shot? Got one of our very own Blade Forums custom makers (Dylan Fletcher, of Fletcher Knives) competing this season, as well as a couple good looking ladies, for added value. We need a Beckerhead in a season here!

I'm waiting on 2 knives, and 1 was suppose to come today. I ran home from work to find a sad empty mail box :( I forgot it's a holiday! I guess I'll just wait till tomorrow

Waiting for new toys is the worst.

So this weekend between me n my family we used a BK9, BK13, Dozier folder, Opinel No. 9, Fletcher Pocket Kilo, Cutco serrated kitchen knife, Wenger SAK, and a Leatherman Wave. Camping is the bomb.

I been seeing some really cool various ''BladeForums" patches on peoples gear...how do you get those? Was it a onetime deal or are they still available? Wouldn't mind buying a few of those.

Yeah, ok, you uncovered my only TV appearance fantasy.

Link doesn't work for me Guyon. Says I don't have permission to access the page.

Must be a mod thing. Someone should post in Tech Support and ask Spark if he's still selling or getting more of the patches.

yeah, same message for me Mr Biscuit.

I hope they are still available...they're pretty badass
