And she doesn't use my knives... ha!

And just because

The wife is lucky i can sharpen well or id smack the hell out of her. She uses whatever knife is in reach, which is usually either my bk5 or my kfu edc in my back pocket. The problem is she doesnt know how to cut things. Scratch that she knows, she just doesnt care about my edges. She push cuts through meat, slamming it on a ceramic plate, and then hands it back like nothings wrong.

I got my chic her own kitchen knife, I'm not into that borrowing stuff. Every time you get something back it usually starts off with " I'm not sure what happened, but...."

I just saw the movie "journey to mystery island" and that movie really needed a machax!

Dude. I saw the helmet cams at REI last night. Now I'm going to have the perfect excuse to get one.

yes, it's important for the rescue team to evaluate how you crashed :)

I was thinking along the same lines. If my chute doesn't deploy, my survivors will have solid grounds for litigation.

I don't know if I could keep a straight face if I heard stuff like this in Scouts: http://ghettohikes.tumblr.com/

I've got this weird reverse situation:
I talked about making a paring knife, she was interested, I did so. And I made a beater of a chef's knife - she won't use either one because I ranted about immediate washing/drying and doesn't want to be implicated in rusting 'em.

So she continues to use the stainless Henckel's instead...
Looks like I have to make some stainless kitchen knives.... But... but.... erg.

As for those who are having problems with the lady of the house abusing knives, just tell her you're going to wear her dress shoes in the mud so they have to go to the cobbler every time you use 'em. Maybe that will help convey the message.

Classic stuff! I wish I'd have recorded some of that stuff when I did the same sort of thing in college. City kids are hilarious in the woods!

You flockers probably just contributed to my demise.
I started shopping longboards around town and found a Gone-Out-Of-Business firesale.
I just gave the "I'll take it" on a Mirimar Natalie deck with Randal 150 longboard trucks and Abec 11 Big Zigs.
Guy's tossing in bearings and hardware for a complete build, and I'll be out the door at $100 cash.
Hope I did okay.

I'll be the old fat geek wearing a helmet. :D

OK. Now I'm nervous.

Turning the optics toward Tennessee.
