Just bought a few lotto tickets. I need to start buying them when I'm in Missouri. Illinois politicians don't seem to be smart enough to pass a budget, so, if you do win, the only thing you get is an IOU.

Just spent the past couple of days out in the country with the family with no electricity because of the ice storm. I had a good time despite! A very memorable Thanksgiving.

why buy when passive "amps" are so easy to make out of leftovers?

The sound was impressive. I'd have never guessed that was all that was producing that volume.

love the K5 hoss, ive always wanted one. Well, that or a ramcharger

Both are good. I like Broncos too but the one-ton stuff doesn't just bolt in on the Fords like it does on the Chevys. Not sure how the Dodges are set up. If you're not going to get crazy with a lift and tires like I plan to than the '80 and up Ford TTB gives a much much MUCH better ride.

There was a Blazer for sale recently that was in 4wheel and off road magazine and went on their ultimate adventure. The engine was a stock 350 but the rest of the truck was done. One-ton axles with gears and lockers, cage and pretty much everything for $7000. I can't even buy the axles for $7000 so I was really bummed I didn't have the money to buy it.

trying to decide if i should strip my kabar 1220, any opinions?

In my opinion Pepsi tastes better than Coke.

seems like someone here was looking for a BK10LE recently - just saw one for sale on a certain crafted shrubbery forum at a killer price.

Up multiple times with sick toddler.....need coffee....but can't move because he is finally getting a good snooze on me. Mental note for later; teach 5 year old to make coffee.

A new feature in G'MIC, in GIMP, called multi scale inpainting. It removes items from photos. Definitely a learning curve with all the different settings, but I was pretty happy with my first result. Not perfect, but saves many hours of cloning by hand:

How can you know for sure its an LE? Just the sheath? There's no micarta...almost looks stripped...if the 10 was ever roll stamped after that run, I'm not sure how to tell...

it looks like mine did when I got it and I've camped with the guy a couple times -- he used to hang out here some, too.

Found an overstock/surplus store with lot's of decent quality, inexpensive stuff (except for the knives, 65 EURO for an Ontario Rat 1? lol). Some nice, no frills cotton T-shirts, good leather belts, all made in Belgium instead of the usual fashion branded made in China stuff. I'm a happy camper...

Ahhh, I see...
I'm not in the market, but just curious how to tell. With no box and having grivory scales...I wouldn't be able to know for sure.

Wife just ordered a Tarahumara for my birthday gift. Damn I love that woman.
