I would say Derek but he's been replaced by Uzbeki scammers so he wouldn't see it so there's no point in saying how much he sucks. :D

iirc they're all etched, but also illuminated a bonus

several models of mepro and trijicon use fiberoptics and tritium - no batteries reddots

the striker is nice cuz: zoom

I think the quad rail they had pictured a few years back was either a prototype or an April Fools joke. Too bad, I woulda bought it. :foot:

Actually, this reminds me I need to change the batteries in that Surefire. :P
 
I'm planning on getting one of those XS rails for my 336. I was poking around and somebody does make a railed fore end for a 336, or did not long ago. Most guys just run the XS scout rail like you have and then a cantilever light mount if they want a light on their lever.

Put enough stuff on and you need a wheelbarrow to carry your rifle... :D

Already stuck this in the firearm thread, but may as well drop it here... My latest AR build...a 9mm pistol.

Why? Because I can! Already have a good selection of rifles and carbines in 5.56mm and 300BLK...do want (need?) a .308Win, but the M1A serves well.

 
I've been looking around and I think I want to get a S&W model 60. I've also been wanting a good scout rifle but the enfield no.5 I bought has kind of quenched that urge, however I would love to get a mossberg mvp in 556 if they had a left hamded model

I was looking at the sparc 2 I don't think it was. Just a red dot.

Striker has zoom? Hmmmm. Imma look at that now.

Hey guys closed on the farm friday spent the last few nights there cleaning up. Have a lot of work to do and since I was so busy cutting burning exploring ect I didnt take any pics so I guess it didnt happen? I will try to take some today.

I'm an Iron sights only kind of guy. I used optics for a long time though. They have their place.

Good choice. Just recommend you stick to .38+P in the J-frame (K's too), and skip the full .357's (or at LEAST stay at 158gr) in that small frame. Maybe things have changed, though. My choice in a 5-shot compact revolver is the 3" Ruger SP101. But I do love me some S&W K-frames.
 
Crap...every time I click on the snark thread it brings me to the Beckerhead firearms thread...
I bet I'm missing some really funny snarky stuff...
