Snark Will Tear Us Apart

Sitting in the Megamid and enjoying a bowl of G. L. Pease Caravan with a cup of black coffee. Used the 5 for breakfast prep. That knife continues to impress. Weather is looking a bit wet, so today will be a rest day. Probably for the best as I've punched a few holes in the the pads of my fingers. Oz is sleeping in his crate in the truck. Life is good.

Picked up a couple of waterproof cases at Home Despot. The big one makes a good tobacco travel case.

Been on a reading kick as of lately. Still reading Blood Meridian, but threw a few thinner books in between such as the title in the picture.
The 11 has been in my pocket, combined with the Case Sodbuster or the Kabar Dozier. Both are great folders for the money. While reading Blood Meridian I always had the soddie in my pocket though... probably the mindset that book evokes, eh?

That's a great case. Might have to pick up one (or two) of those. Nice setup.

Good call, considering the subject matter!
 
I'm enamored by my new to me old lighter. With a little tinkering, I was able to get it running. Just need to pull up and trim the wick then top off the fuel.

It's always been a marriage counseling forum. It's just that normally the topic is "how do I convince the wife that I need more knives?"

Good eye! That's the sheath for the wife's new Magua. My mom found the lighter at a little antique store and picked it up for me. I had to clean the disintegrated flint out of the tube then after some new flint and fuel, it fired up. The wick still needs a little work and I've already ran it dry from playing with it.
 
OK So I have stayed out of this thread because I have no idea what a snark is and what this thread is about. I guess I am not in the "cool" crowed.:eek:

So I only read the first page, not sure if this thread was about snacks, but misspelled as snark and then it went on from there? Or if there is something called a snark let me know as I am lost as to what is going on here. Maybe I need to get a TV, is it a television thing?:D

Really looking forward to see what he comes up with. We were messing around with the GoPro last night. Cool little camera. Crystal clear. I may end up getting one, one of these days.

I have yet to figure out what a snark thread is. I know about snarky comments. Been known to make a few in a weak moment.
 
This thread is about nothing. And about everything. It's not a television thing. It's a Zen thing.

Welcome to the snark. Yeah, it started as a snack, but now it's a snark, which is what it should have been all along - damn auto correct!

Really just a thread of random thoughts from Becker knife fans.

For example:
I'm currently enjoying a bowl of Cornell & Diehl Pirate Kake. This is a gorgeous heavy Latakia blend. Anyone else tried it?

This might be the most confusing snark sentence I've read. I wasn't sure it was all in English and thought it was about snacks. But I googled a bit and found out it is about smoke.
