sudafed (wal-phed, or other generic) will also stop most of the drainage that's likely causing you the nausea and reduce your chance of getting a sinus infection.
mucinex just thins mucus, so it's easier to cough out the lung slugs that make it hurt to breathe -- if you're not having any issues with that, then don't take it.

edit to add: a shot of honey whiskey (or a shot of whiskey with a teaspoon of honey added) heated in the microwave for 9-10 seconds (so it's just at or above body temp) is a wonderful way to soothe your sore throat and clear the nasty gunk out of it that's making you cough.

I did that to them 2 years ago ;) you would think they learned their lesson by now. I had a wicked 72 hour flu virus that made everything come out of both ends and nausea that was so bad that you couldn't stand. I tried to refuse joining my family for Christmas day and got told I had to go lol. Everybody there (including my 90 year old grandmother) got it :(

The 'I told you so' still didn't make me feel any better lol.

back home from Seattle. Mediocre xmas for me. I mean it was great to be with the fam and all, but I didn't get any new steel. I did get a sweater and a survival manual though. Actually, the best gift I got was a package of resse's peanut butter cups......:rolleyes:

Sorry to hear that, Tom. I didn't get any new steel either, but I figured there wasn't a ghost of a chance anyway. On the bright side, that leaves you in the clear to get what you want.
 
Oh, so check this out. My boy comes to me and asks for my knife so he could open one of his xmas gifts. I hand him my SAK Alox. As he walks away I say to him, "Keep it." He's all happy and whatnot. Then I turn and I see the wife giving me laser beam kill me eyes. I say, "What's up?" She's says to me quite pissed off, "You know I got him a little Buck knife (a stockman) a few months ago, you didn't need to give him that knife."

I was dumbfounded. The only thing I could say was, "Sorry if I stole your thunder but the boy didn't have his buck on him it seems." She's still peeved at me.

women....I'll just never understand them.

To be sure. I dropped the bomb on the wife about a Magua sometime in the near future. Now if I could just get Todd to answer my PM, LOL
 
Hey does anyone have a Benchmade 761? I'd be interested in hearing someone's impression of the knife.

I have one of those in H1 and yellow FRN. I knew it was gonna be small, but it still surprised me a little when it got here. Surprising also were the ergos (in a good way) for such a small package.

I have never handled one, but I was looking into on a little while ago. The only negative comment I have ever heard about the knife; you cant change the position of the pocket clip. Its only tip down (and potentially just right or left side). But if you take the clip off you can easily get a sheath for it (for belt or neck carry). Apparently the knife itself has good eurgos and the M390 is ubersweet.
