Double post. Like a third boob, never wanted, but I'm not going to complain

Took advantage of my nephew being here for Christmas and had him help me bottle up 54 bottles of Mustang Grape Wine and Mustang Melomel (mead with grape juice added prior to fermentation). Just have to wait a few more months for it to age properly. Had it aging in 1 gallon jugs for the last year. Now, I'll let it sit for another 5-6 months in the bottles.

And I have another 15 gallons ready to transfer into the gallon jugs later this week - 5 gallons each of Blackberry Wine, straight mead and a blackberry melomel.
Next 15 Gallons.jpg

And here's 4 bottles labeled up for public display/consumption Christmas day - some Mustang Grape wine bottled up back in July 2013.

I think the next batches to be whipped up will be another 5 gallons of blackberry wine, straight mead and, if one of my friends still has several gallons of strawberries left in his freezer from last spring, some strawberry wine.

No wait. You win.

Figuratively? or literally? or both?

Literally.

From the 'More Is Better' department, eh?
Hm. I'm for moderation in most things, including this... er, these ones. Yet I am transfixed. Is tri-lateral symmetry a thing?

Latest lumens set-up for the Becker bag...

Fenix PD35 at 960 lumens. And Princeton Tec Remix Pro at 100 lumens. Everybody runs on CR-123's.

The last time Murph modded a knife, the result was pointless.

You stole the exact words outta my mouth. Is it? Technically, if you bisect the center lactation nozzle with a vertical line, it's still bilaterally symmetrical. And while still transfixed, I definitely prefer the traditional bilateral one per side setup. I only have two hands.

That's a sweet setup, G-mod.

Two hands, and one mouth. Hence needing the three.

Gotta thank you for the sample. Very full Latakia blend. Smooth and smokey with a hint of creaminess. Not a lot of nicotine and very little bite. Could easily be an all-day smoke if you like this style of tobacco. I've become a fan and will be ordering a tin or two!

Nailed it. It's like the anti-Bracken. I'm going to get a couple of ounces tomorrow! Think I'll try some of their chocolate cavendish too.

Sorry I didn't reply to all the smoke/prayers/well wishes earlier today fellas. We went up to the hospital after breakfast this morning and spent some more time with Curt. After that we made the drive home and I hit the bed not long after that, so I could be ready to work tonight.

While we were at the hospital, Curt's Dr visited and indicated that he seems to be on the right track. His platelets aren't going up yet, but some of his other numbers are, so he feels the platelets will follow soon. They have been treating him for an infection in his heart, which is what they feel caused the strokes. They have some sort of procedure to check for that, but with the risk of bleeding being too high, they haven't done it yet. The treatment for it is working, so that's probably what the problem was, but they still want to do the procedure to be sure. The Dr was actually talking about possibly letting him go home later this week if things keep going well. Things are looking up and hopefully he can get going on the chemo again soon.

soup, salad, 2x milk stout, and the 4th episode of Marco Polo.
