Snark Will Tear Us Apart

Had too much flu in the house throughout December. We made plans. Flu came. We canceled plans. Made plans. Round two of flu. Canceled plans.

Now people are healthy, I've got time off from work, and we've got no plans.

What are y'all doing or not doing for New Year's?

I'm looking for inspiration or even comfort in "we're not doing anything."

Sorry to hear about all that flu. It's been jumping around up here in the G'town/Temple area as well.

MY plans have become my mother's plans - she decided to have a New Year's Eve party at noon for all her 75+ crowd -you know, those folks who never go out at night and crash around 8 or 9 p.m.

Someone got dragooned into cooking up the beef enchiladas, enchiladas verde, chicken tortilla soup, mixing the 2 gallons of Sangria, setting up all the folding tables and chairs, ......., and it sure wasn't any of my siblings who have set up households NOT within 150 miles.

Sorry about the sickness, but glad it seems to have passed.

I am not doing anything on NYE. There is a late winter deer season starting the 1st, so I will likely stay depressingly sober and be in the woods before the ass crack of dawn.

Hey WW. When did they tell you the hex hawks are gonna be in Blade. My dad had the newest 2015 issue and I didn't see it.

The wife and I normally go to one of the local casinos on New Years eve. We have also talked about going to Spring House Brewery and stocking up on some of that delicious stout. This is just dependent on weather or not the wife can talk her dad or mom into watching the kids for a few hours. If not then we will just sit around and have some drinks at home!

It wont be until the July issue. They said the July issue normally hits newsstands and subscribers by the end of April. It will be in the "What's New" section.

Sorry you got dragooned, but that sounds like a nice spread.

The woods does sound nice. Hope you get a big one.

Ah, the built in baby-sitters. Gotta love them. We'll probably end up sitting at home with the kids watching Netflix.

All questions can be addressed to tradewater, who I think is now a company rep.

With some of the family at Homestead Heritage near Waco. In the blacksmith shop watching an axe head being forged.

Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh,............... the feeling of relief you get when you come back from a meeting with your accountant with your ass hairs intact. PRICELESS!!!!!!!!

Obviously, Todd's accountant is familiar with Ignite-O.

Emailed Jantz with a question earlier, they answered in about 5 minutes. Love that, and really like Jantz. Every time I have gone in there the ladies have been so extremely accommodating and nice. Two thumbs up.

If used properly, Ignite-O should leave ass hairs pretty much intact. All bets are off if alcohol is involved though. Of course no great story starts with a salad, so drink up and light up.
