Get well soon man. I'm sitting here at 38.5 with a pretty big headache. I really want to stay home but my kids are at my parents place and my wife is getting some last min things picked up for tomorrow. I promised my parents I would go over for dinner. I think I'll ask Santa to let me sleep all day tomorrow (minus the time spent with the kids opening their presents ;) I want to see the smiles)
 
All of you need to get better... That or just suck it up!

I let my lone worker go early today, then split out shortly thereafter. The wife and I tossed are bags and presents in the car, swing by a local brewery to fill a growler before they closed and now we are headed South at velocity to visit my folks with little to no traffic. Today is shaping up quite well....

Yea the xmas morning smiles are the best!! Last year i woke my kids up early because i didnt want to wait anymore LOL

House is empty..... Time for a good smoke and some tea. Ill feel right as rain in about 10 minutes LOL

I could totally go for a special cookie and a tea lol (i think I have a few left in the freezer). The way my lungs hurt right now from coughing so much I'm not even going to bother lol.

temp finally dropped below 102, so far I've lost 4 pounds, and SWMBO has agreed that it would be a bad idea for me to go do Christmas with her family on Saturday.

It doesnt worsen my cough, if anything it helps it.... well it makes it/me less miserable anyway LOL

Yea man thats rough brother. Hope you get better soon as well. My fever keeps going up and down. Its been as high as 103.6. Today it hasnt went over 101.5 though. Feeling more stomach nausea today. A little cough as well but its not constant or violent. My son had a real bad cough so im expecting that. He was sick for about 3 days. So im hoping today is it for me LOL
 
if you're getting nauseous, that may be sinus drainage -- you might try some 12 hour sudafed.
5-7 days is normal for influenza - followed with 2 weeks of feeling like crap.

I can speak from experience, that's definitely the case. You don't have to feel the drainage happening for that to be the case. Although I usually get the nauseated feeling in the throat, I don't know what that means.

The Blackjack version was better executed than the Camillus version, and this one seems to have an even thinner edge than the last Blackjack Brute I owned.

Who cares? They all taste the same. And is it any surprise they're all female? They all have stripper names.

Well, the rain finally stopped at around 3:30. Gave me a chance to get a fire going and make a substantial coal bed. Dropped my rear tire grill on it and managed to cook up some asparagus and a massive NY strip steak. Currently enjoying this fine meal with lovely cabernet sauvignon in the Megamid and watching Bridesmaids. Used the 5 for food prep and the 15 as my steak knife. Oz will get some delicious scraps. Merry Christmas folks.
 
birthday was on the 22nd, 38 y.o. now. But look at the rock! it looks like it has a bear face!!! and the body, too.
