Ahhh, good old age. I already know I'm old; AARP has been sticking their pins in my doll for a couple years now. Not ancient, mind, but just kinda on the tail end of middle age. My first was (probably.....) Rush's Permanent Waves. I had

.....sorry, had a bit of a flashback there. Holy $#!+, that's powerful. Geddy's voice has changed so much since then. I might be old, but I still like to rock.....nowadays, tho, I have to be careful not to pull a muscle or something.

Having to stretch before you let loose is a sure and certain sign that we aren't 18 anymore.

G'night. See y'all tomorrow.

Hey Gus....

Just checked weather for wher I think you are....... Looks real damp..... Stay dry my friend and safe.....

Ethan

Hey Ethan,

We're getting hammered with rain right now. Looks like there may be more for Wed and then things clear up - fingers crossed. Oz and I are holding up. We're a bit damp, but doing OK.

There's a package heading your way. Should be there by Friday. Let me know when it arrives.

Gus has set me off on a nostalgic music trip.

Just bought an mp3 version of the first vinyl I ever bought - "The Grand Illusion" by Styx.

I'm not sure whether I'm getting old or just plain and simple already am.

Good times.

Glad I could help!

Have to say that I'm really enjoying posting from inside the tent. The rain is still coming down hard, but the Megamid has remained remarkably dry.

Getting older ain't for the weak, but it sure beats the alternative.

Make your own.

I got 8"x11" veg tanned leather from local hobby store and 1.5" and 3" width maple and poplar strips from local bog box store, enough to make several strops for less $20 total.

This. $50 for a strop is just.... well, whatever, $200-500 for a handmade knife is insane to some folks too, I guess. :p We went to a street market downtown last weekend, and I was stunned at what people will pay for some things... $65 for a Mason jar with a light bulb mounted in it? Yup.

Actually... all things considered (especially overhead and profit margins), maybe I'm in the wrong business. Screw knives, maybe I'll dedicate 2015 to nothing but strops and bottle openers and Mason jar lamps. :D

green rainy xmas this year. no snow.

Same here. In fact we haven't had anything id call snow yet this year. Ill be happy if the rest of the season stays the same.

The wife wants it to snow, since this is going to be our last winter here, but ill be happier without it.

Lots of sleeping going on over here the last day or 2. fun fun.

Good morning and Merry Christmas folks!! We've got a little snow, but not nearly as much as normal. It has been unusually warm here so far.

Good morning fellas! Merry Christmas and the only white weather we get is heavy fog! Hope everyone has a great day and time with the family!

The dog just gave me a little early present. She walked in, wagged her tail and puked. Never stopped wagging her tail so I'm thinking it was on purpose.

Your dog obviously cares for you a lot. I bet whatever the dog ate was awesome and she thought you might appreciate. Later, she will find some unique scat with an exquisite aroma and cover herself in its redolence so she may share it with you.

So its roughly 9:20 Christmas eve and I just delivered the last knife I had to have made for the big day. Im proud to say that this month of December 2014 was the by far the largest knife producing month in T.M.Hunt custom knives history. I still have lot of orders to hit the ground running with in the new year, so hoping its gonna be a good year, thanks again to all of my friends here for your friendship and support. Hope everybody has a Merry CHRISTmas and happy New year.

Trade, sounds like your dog needs to learn how to use wrapping paper. Or better yet, a gift bag.

Congrats Todd!

At what point will you start shouting at your volleyball stuffed with "hair"?

I think you're right. She loves to share with me because my lap is her favorite place to fart.
