Snark Will Tear Us Apart

At what point will you start shouting at your volleyball stuffed with "hair"?

Just spilled my coffee. Currently enjoying a bowl if G. L. Pease Barbary Coast and drying out. It has not rained for the last 3 hours. Hoping that things stay dry enough to grill a steak and some asparagus for dinner. Couldn't find a volley ball, but Oz and I are playing poker. He's cleaning me out. I think he's cheating.

One day, if I ever decide to go all in and get a dedicated sub-forum here (but that would divide my time!), I should do a survey of how people carry their birudii (inventing a plural?).

Some of us might carry them, if we had one... :D :D

Doc

Too bad about the lousy weather Gus. I don't think Oz is cheating. He just has an awesome poker face.

I think you're right. She loves to share with me because my lap is her favorite place to fart.

I have some special dog treats I can send you that will help with that.

(Angie bought a new brand of moist food last week... the dogs liked it just fine but good lord, I have never been witness to stinkier, longer-lasting, more truly disgusting dog farts :barf:) snark

Yeah, you might be right. Hard to read that guy. I thought he would be an easy mark because he doesn't have thumbs. I was wrong.

How's your pup doing? She feeling better?

Congrats on the sales Todd.

Hey Guyon, how were the Rockeets?

Hey Guyon, how were the Rockeets?

They made me feel older than hell. They all looked about 12-years-old.
My son enjoyed the show though. Kick higher, please. Still laughing at that one.

Years ago, we went down to Uncle Dave Macon Days and ran up on these young guys cutting rugs and selling CD's in the parking lot.
They were good. Damn good.' I bought a CD just based on a few songs in a parking lot. They were Old Crow Medicine Show, and they hadn't hit big yet.

Just discovered some Willie Watson vids. He was a founding member but broke with the band.
Bluesy/folksy stuff. He's got a good voice and plays a mean clawhammer.

We once got the dogs some dehydrated tripe. It smelled disgusting, but they loved it. Couldn't bring ourselves to buy it again.

Never underestimate based on a lack of opposing digits. Oz could probably send a V8 if there was a rawhide bone at the top out.

Getting older ain't for the weak, but it sure beats the alternative.

This. $50 for a strop is just.... well, whatever, $200-500 for a handmade knife is insane to some folks too, I guess. :p We went to a street market downtown last weekend, and I was stunned at what people will pay for some things... $65 for a Mason jar with a light bulb mounted in it? Yup.

Actually... all things considered (especially overhead and profit margins), maybe I'm in the wrong business. Screw knives, maybe I'll dedicate 2015 to nothing but strops and bottle openers and Mason jar lamps. :D
I remember when certain folks at craft shows/flea markets were selling dirt to people... They were selling mason jars full of Oklahoma Red Dirt, and people were tripping over themselves to get it!

How can you tell OK red dirt from GA red dirt or TN red dirt or...

Yea Yea Yea. Spydercos are awesome and all, but come on.... We'd rather see the Blackjack Brute, Biscuit!

This old thing? Why in the world would you want to see this old thing?

I will admit... I'm looking forward to using it.
The Blackjack version was better executed than the Camillus version, and this one seems to have an even thinner edge than the last Blackjack Brute I owned.

TN red dirt is what we rub on our wounds instead of crying.

If'n only i hadda 1217er to go widdat derr sheeth.

Wife and kids are headed to have dinner at her Father's house. Im using being sick to my advantage so i dont have to go :D

Ooooh.... That is a good looking blade.
That is an awesome looking sheath, JD!
And don't worry folks, I won't enter this one. Everyone still has a chance.

Merry Xmas Eve, all. And for those who are curious, it turns out that the X in Xmas actually does, in fact, denote Christ. So whether you're religious or not, it's still historically legitimate.
