That's all?

Freakin' lightweight.:p

I used to drink Redd's quite a bit, but lost a taste for it. Not sure what happened.

Anyway, sounds like a saturday well spent.

Please don't perform what I call "crepe murder". You know where people cut their crepe myrtles off because they get too tall? And you end up with these ugly knobs where the cuts form calluses and spindly little growth. The only reason landscapers do it is for a pay check.

UGLY>>> If you want short crepe myrtles, buy DWARF varieties. A short list is in the second link.

I don't want them short... I won't be cutting them back... Let them keep their natural shape and get as big as they want...

But i do know people who cut them back... Mostly to get more flowers though... At least that's the reason they say they do it LOL.

Some of the ligustrum is being used as a hedge... But Some of it i Will also be letting grow into small trees. I really like how they look when left to grow into a tree.

If I'm not eating it.... Or otherwise consuming it... And it's not physically in my way... I normally don't prune/trim plants or trees.. I intentionally picked hedge/shrub plants that i liked in their natural form... Because I'm lazy... And might not wanna keep trimming hedges all over my property haha.

The quarry today. Massive quarry. There are several old quarries not pictured. They're behind the horizon and have already filled up with water.
They excavate it for the dark clay, in order to make bricks, roof tiles,...

There are some levels where these Septaria are very common. They're also called 'clay breads' because of their round shape when they're not broken. They consist of calcite concretions that form around organic matter (could be a shell...). When you bust them open, the inside is often littered with pyrite (also called fools gold). Absolutely beautiful and stunning in the sunlight.

Shark teeth are very scarce. Especially those that are larger than 5mm... So this was a good find:

Good day of hard work and little finds, but I absolutely enjoyed it

I think it's awesome that you're finding shark teeth like that. When I lived in Spain we used to scour the beach looking for them. I've still got a small handful left. I'll post a couple pix later.

Tempting me with that 20 on the exchange Dubz

I need some money. A new battery for my JEEP, for one. I'll be selling 4 or 5 more as well. I hate listing them all at once, haha. Too confusing.

Darn it, they're taking Psych off of Netflix on October 1st. Don't be an incorrigible piece of Eskimo pie with a caramel ribbon, Netflix.

When I read they were getting rid of it I fell and broke my coccyx.

I cracked mine, once....but it warn't from nuthin' so sissy. Cracked it in a hockey related thing.

Well, related.....I was wearing my goalie skates, free skating at the local college (RIT) - and I was jumping as far as I could every time I came across the crease.....and my feet went out from under me coming down from a pretty long jump.

Never heard of anyone so fey as to break theirs from bad news, tho......
