Landed two older traditionals over the weekend!
An old splitback whittler.
Utica in Great condition, no cracks or chips in bone either.
And I have this IXL cattle knife inbound too.
Definitely looking forward to these!
No idea if I will use them, or keep them as trade fodder.
Guess I'll figure that out when I have them in hand...

Even if you just show up on Friday to graze, it's amazeballs, how much old steel and coolbeans shit there is... 1000s and 1000s of things...
I plan to drop by at least Friday.
Last year I scored a couple old but usable hewing axes and a bark spudder for < $50 total
One guy specializes in restoring tools for his hobby, and his prices are quite fair. SUPER discounts to students of wood.
The LAST day is best if you can linger, people literally begging you take shit so they don't have to pack home.

I finally started forming sheaths today. They've been cut out for a few days. Looks like I mis-measured on one of them so it'll be for another knife or a general sheath.
After taking to Daziee and Julio, I've decided to get a 2x72 grinder for my next grinder. The range of belts for those is amazing. So imma be saving my pennies for a while to get a good grinder.
