Snark Yurty to me

Mmm hot water tank died yesterday. Waiting for the tech today between 7am-11am boourns. If its busted, time for an on-demand system.
 
Just found out that the stock BK11 micarta won't fit my BK11csm...
I have some Black dyed curly maple available to make some slabs with, and the coloration matches nicely.

First ten shots out of my .22 build at 25 yards. My dental mirror bore sight was clearly successful.
There was one flyer on the initial shot. Crappy trigger pull on my part. You can see its crinkle on the left edge.

At 100 yards, things fell apart for a couple of reasons. First, two young guys were assigned the lane next to me and started blasting away with AR-15s, one of them without a rear sight! (The range master made him put it away.) Second, I couldn't see shinola with just my shooting glasses. The world inside my scope went and got all fuzzy. So... I'll head back on a weekday for more peaceful and visually focused shooting.

What's not fitting on it? I snagged one off the exchange this weekend.

I can't apologize for my yurty mouth. Only some of my actions, and even that's iffy.

The holes cut in the handle on the 11 itself were not the same size as current machine made cuts.
Possibly due to differing levels of hand vs machine finish?

Easily remedied with a file or sand paper, but I figure anything worth doing is worth over-doing...
 
There's a very cool ICF two-story 'yurt' somewhere in my town, built to be off the grid. It's really cool, but I can't remember the right keywords to turn up his website. I got a tour some years ago when buying a couple cords of firewood from him off craigslist.
 
Got the tank replaced free of charge wewt. The awesome tech's also moved a shelving unit for me :D

All this .22 shooting makes me want to go plinking.

yurt all driving me crazy.
