I paid a couple extra thousand just for them to put me completely under to do my surgery. Of course i was getting 28 teeth pulled and some jaw bone work but still, they wanted to split all the work into 4 or 5 visits. I wasn't having that...
Crazy though, they finished everything including the 30 something stitches in less than 2 hours.
On another note... That old man at the nursery whooped my ass today. I moved over 500 potted plants to another area on the other side of his property... I'm not talking those little tiny flower pots either.. 3Gals each.
Plus re stapled the entire ground mats down and cut and hauled most of a huge fallen oak tree....
He comes out to pay me at my quitting time and says... That was tomorrows work too... I didn't think you'd get to all that...
Well damn... This morning he told me stuff he wanted done... He didn't say when... I thought that was today's job... So i killed myself to complete the task..
But i get tomorrow off now so that's one Plus...

my mom had all her teeth out by age 23? something like that. crude dentistry.

these days, amazing. still, my dentist had to use all his toys, and it still took an hour for one tooth to extract. my wisdom teeth in comparison some six years ago, 1 took 10 minutes - popped out like an acorn, the rest filled out the 2 hours. surgicals. flap. new york city sky line method. stitches. healed SUPER fast. cut them out myself. yards of stuff.

stitches itch. self dissolving my ass. i patience ... but i'll be removing that thing early too.

ah, tree. busted my hump with a volunteer oak today. got to use some fancy rigging, and got a clean hinge, and well, it was growing interlocked in one tree. few thousands of pounds of force cleared that. then it fell hung up. that took longer to pull clear, but i've learned. much easier, though i'm still tired from the surgery and general stress. then just as i was packing up the fiddleblocks and super rope, downpour :D if it's clear tomorrow, i'll be bucking up a lot up wood, and moving 5-6 trees worth until i drop, or something. art project :D

i have randomly removed 1/3 of the b0ker heads. i do not even know what a b0ker head is, but you are gone.

Why was I not snarking much today? It has been one of those days where if I didn't have bad luck, I'd have none at all.

When I went out this morning, I saw that the right front headlight is busted out. Looks like someone must have backed a jacked-up pickup bumper into it.

I was ALMOST finished with the new blind this morning when the seals blew on my 1 remaining nail gun - air constantly blows through the exhaust port just sitting there. I had taken the other 2 to the shop just this past Monday for other reasons - trigger assembly fell apart on one of them and the hammer cracked on the other one. Took an hour to finish a 10 minute job using a manual hammer and nails. Damn we get spoiled with good tools.

Got the new rifle blind finished and hauled into place down in the pasture near the creek - blew out and shredded a trailer tire just 40 yards from the blind's resting place = so the blind is still on the trailer, with the trailer blocked up to near level. I think it's gonna stay like that until January. Then I'll replace the tire.

Then, while putting up my bow stand this afternoon, one of the leg welds broke. Now I gotta drag the stand to the shop and reweld the leg.

And when I started for home, the automatic gate opener motor for the back gate refused to work. Had to walk 3 miles back to the house, get the key to remove the security lock and walk back so I could get the truck through and rig up a manual locking chain to keep the gate shut until I get the opener working. My mother had a doctor's appointment this afternoon, so there was none to call to bring me the key.

Tomorrow has got to be better. Right?? :D

Oh, yeah, and the high pressure hose on the air compressor decided to start leaking as well. So I guess it was a good thing my nail gun blew a seal.

Hope today turns out better for ya!

Catching up on snark... being a productive parent really gets in the way of forum time :(
