dumped 5" out of the rain gauge this morning - as soon as I got in the door, it started back up.

VP9

Beretta 96 or 8045 trumps a 92.
same grip, bigger pills.

minor flooding about 8 miles from the house, but our land slopes away from the house so it would take some impressive rainfall to cause us significant issues.

H&K is nice and I used a USP extensively in the Army but.....G19 is as good as it gets and way cheaper buy some ammo with the extra cash.

HK, Steyr, and Springfield have done well by me

i have a customized target glock, but even with mods, it never fit quite right, but it's mine

Springfield TRP or the 5+ inch polymers rock - need to get one someday

I have never even held a glock, but I have a HK VP70Z from the 80s. Really sweet and very easy to maintain. Just 1 negative - the really stiff, 16# trigger.

Back when I shot it frequently, I could get 4" groups at 20 yards. Now, when I take it out to play, it's 12" groups at best, even on a good day. It's still the only 9mm I have. Still contemplating what 9 to get next. ALL of them feel clunky to me after the VP70Z. It's handle is sleek and slim, even with its double-stacked mag. And the VP70M/VP70Z was the FIRST polymer framed handgun. The "70" in the model number is for 1970, the first year of production, which preceded Glock's first polymer gun by 12 years.

H&K any day of the week over a Glock.
Still prefer Glock.

haven't shot any of the new glocks

seems like they just have evolved to where Stery was at the get go, and where Springfield XDM started out as.

still, in the end, what fits your hand best, is what you want.

Congrats on the puppy AC! They will keep you busy for sure.

Aww fur baby for AC!

Our bitch is settled. She is/was in heat the past few weeks. Check out the stylish panties.

We go out running every morning and most evenings. She love chasing rabbits and coyotes. [emoji2]

Thanks guys. We have a lot of work to do with him, but he seems pretty smart, so hopefully it goes well. Right now potty training, biting, and not chasing the cats are what are most important. He's already picking up the sit command, so thats good.

Nice looking pooch TBL.

How's that new pup of yours doing WW?

AC, he is doing great bro! Growing into a beautiful dog. Though he is smaller than we expected. At 6 months old now he weighs about 42lbs. Which for his supposed breeds is light... But his proportions are great and he is a big eater and plays plenty... Healthy so I'm happy... Though i was hoping for a 100# plus dog lol

We were told he was half English mastiff and half lab... And he looks like it to me just smaller. My buddies 6 month pure lab weighs 58lbs. But i adopted Leo and didn't get to see the parents so he could really be anything LOL

If he doesn't hit at least 80# in the next year... I Will be getting a 3rd dog... Leo Will still be loved no matter his size but i really want a big dog.

There is a great Cane Corso breeder not far from here... Beautiful dogs, supposedly very smart and easy to train... I have started reading up on them just in case!!

Here's my buddies. Just took this picture.

How many pounds of dog would be ideal for your household?
Never occurred to me to measure them that way. Why not get 30 little ones? :D

If i wasn't married with kids I'd prolly have a dozen dogs.

But not 30 little ones... The little ones always seem to bark the Most lol.

I haven't been allowed to own a large dog for about 15 years... Now i can and want one. I grew up with LOADS of dogs. In fact its hard to remember any childhood without at least one and other times 3 and 4 at a time. Mostly large dogs. Some medium breeds.. Not many small.
