My parents used to have a bmw x5. For what it was, if you stepped in it and hit the kickdown switch that thing would take off and haul some serious ass, no matter what speed you were going. I never had the balls to take it any faster than 80 though. (on the highway)

Turbos are nice..

I once dated a girl that had a Mercedes sports car. I was 18, she was 17....She told me she never took it passed 70.... I asked to drive it the first night we went out together..... She agreed and handed me the keys..... And then we thought i broke it when the entire car electronically shut down around 150 MPH. That spoiled chick even let me drive it again. :rolleyes:

She was BEYOND spoiled. Her dad owned several car lots and just gave her a Mercedes sports car for her 17th birthday.. Her home was GINORMOUS. It was no secret she was just slumming it with me. She was one of those types that liked flashing money.. She always paid for everything but she made it KNOWN she was the one paying... And when we were around my friends she would give me handfuls of money... She did this several times... from 50-300 dollars..... But she ONLY did this when there were other people around to see it though..... Hell i didnt care, i was poor and i know better than to turn down a free meal from a rich hot chick in a fast car...

It lasted a few months and then she took me home to meet her dad.... I called the next day and her father told me if he ever seen me around his little girl again he would dig 2 graves.... and then he just hung up.. He didnt say who the 2 graves would be for but i got the point well enough LOL :D
 
Mercedes, BMW, and Audi have a gentleman's agreement to electronically limit their cars to 155mph. However if you get the Brabus or Alpina upgrades (respectively) that limit goes out the window. This doesn't apply to their "Hypercars" however the majority of their lines do apply.
 
Fastest I've ever been on 4 wheels is around 160mph. Fastest I've done on 2 wheels is 205mph :D

Sugga' momma's are a great thing for short periods of time ;)

That ~150 was the fastest i ever drove or rode in a car myself.

Fastest i ever went on a bike was around 100 mph and i was on the back of it... Fastest i ever drove a bike... Well i only ever drove 1 bike and it was a dirt bike... And i wrecked it in less than a mile so i doubt i got it past 50.
 
so everyday I've been driving by this jeep and I've seen this thing stripped down spread out all over this guys lawn, finally it's built and forsale! he's asking 5 Gee's for it but said it needs brake lines, drive shaft and something arms custom made and said he'd drop the price down to 4 Gee's... its got a 350 chevy motor and everything is brand new under the hood. This is the kind of jeep I want, a strip down all go and no show type of jeep. only thing I didn't like is he somehow wrapped burlap on the dash... and that padded stripe thing on the front window
