I sure wish you would say somethin' about that kitchen knife, somewhere in public. Good, bad or indifferent. That's kinda the idea of sendin' the damn thing all over the country...![]()
It's very hard to take pictures of a knife in use when you don't have any way to take pictures since both your hands are elbow deep in raw meat. I'll copy the review when I get home to the proper sub forum, possibly even some additional musings. The problem is I know what I like in a knife and don't like. I know how to make it work for me. It isn't always, or even usually, what others are looking for or want. I have talked to James privately about the blade too though.LMAO!! I was thinking the same thing... And wondering if i was the only one!!
I was looking forward to Cbear's review... he cooks all the time, and posts pictures all the time of some great looking eats... So when i seen he would be on the pass around i figured there would be some good after thoughts coming as well....
Its a pass around knife... I think the idea is to review it in the pass around thread...... But i never been considered a "genius" so what do i know??![]()
Neko says "Unicorn pimpin' ain't easy"![]()
One way or another them panties are comin off and your land is bout to get dominated . Got me a new panty scalpin knife at a yard sale .

I in no way think it sucks. I think it for real is a great knife. I had talked to you on Facebook about it. I do need the address of the next guy, I am going to send it out Monday or Tuesday dependant on work schedule.Sorry if I somehow missed that "private talk", but I just checked my PA thread, my subforum, BladeForum pm's, THK company emails and my msg's on FaceBook again... and I'm not seeing anything private or public from you to me about that knife. I don't recall any phone convo's either. WTF?
Look, if you think the knife sucks, I can take that. That's the whole idea of a passaround - I wanna get better.
If you think it rocks, that's just your opinion.
If you just plain got busy and didn't have time to deal with it, or only mentioned it in passing in snark or whatever, I totally understand that, too. People have lives to deal with, I get that. Just send it on to the next tester.
But if you think I'm gonna sit here and smile and eat dirt while you call my name here, and pretend you've been in constant (or any) contact with me (or anyone else that I know of) about it... that's not gonna happen. :grumpy:
Gus, I bought some coarse emory boards and some Cornhuskers lotion and got those callouses under control.
I read that it's a beginner phase because of the type of holds I'm grabbing. Later, the emphasis will be more on fingertips.
That's the right approach. And yes, you have split tips and bruised pads to look forward to!
