After getting called in to work to work the NIGHT SHIFT for the next couple of days I wanted to get some work done on my project to occupy my mind. This morning it was a flat hunk of O1. Not it at least has some shape to it.

Tomorrow I hope to start shaping the blade angles to hopefully achieve a high convex grind. I built a file jig to help me out.

I can see why custom makers charge what they do. This is some real work.

Are players allowed to finish in the dark? Or do they have to finish the next day during the day? I could see both ways being a pain in the butt.

Has anyone been following the Tony Stewart story?

Players can elect to continue play the next day. The weirdness today was that officials allowed the final group to (sort of) play up with the next-to-last group. Phil looked less than happy about it.

Saw it. Damned shame. Read some stuff. Watch the video. Sure looked like he was trying to scare the kid and swerved toward him, but who's to say? Only Stewart, in his heart of hearts, really knows.

I've seen it at the local beer joint. I thought maybe it was a novelty so I passed it by. I did pick up a few old favs and a couple new beers Saturday though.



I'm not into hot foods, but I enjoy Stone's offerings. This was worth the $8.



Told you my looks have improved.

Saved for scaring the hell out of my children. Oh, and that "Sue" bottle I posted is also a smoked porter. Good stuff.
 
I'm going to have to scrounge up a bottle of the chipotle smoked porter. The smokey chipotle pepper flavor would work real well in a smoked porter. I've had some good smoked porters and some bad ones, but my favorite to date has been the bourbon barrel smoked porter from Apocalypse Brewery in Louisville.

Scared the hell out of the kids here, that's for sure. My daughter hates when I shave my noggin.
 
Im not so excited. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon.

Just a consultation i believe. The place specializes in sleep or sedation dentistry.


Im way more excited about Friday coming up!!! Sucks i cant just mentally skip Monday.
