It's gorgeous isn't it? I saw one up in Michigan a few years ago, was a dark navy blue but it had a gold flake and mother of pearl clear coat on it... Fricking GORGEOUS! Love the Woodward Dream Cruise.

If making that much bacon you might want to consider baking it. That pan is very crowded and wouldn't crisp up quick it seems... Just how it seems!

I only like my edges touched with a little crisp. I prefer my bacon still kinda oinking. It drives my wife nuts as she is one of those people that likes super crispy bacon.

I don't like it oinking, but I get mine cut extra thick at Green's Sausage House in Zabcikville, Texas. It gets crispy on the edges by the time the meaty center is done. Then you have to cut it with a knife or tear it with your teeth just like a real piece of meat. Yummmmm....
