So I have the slap strap pros for my hammock and one of the loops ripped off, so I'm think of just gutting the rest of them off and using the main price of webbing to make my own straps, anyone ever done this?
I thought about getting a set to replace my slap straps but I don't want to spend $30 if what I have will work, but we wil see
and some of it is actually impossible to split. Sugar Maple, came down last year in a microburst - pretty and smells good, but some of it is just incredibly twisted and won't ever split.
Do you sew your own loops? Or do you just tie it
