I actually get Friday and Saturday off but not Sunday or Monday. My kids are out of school Monday for... maybe Columbus Day?
 
I think so... I'm not too sure, they never taught us about him, just told us that we get some day off school for him.
 
You'd think we'd get Texas Independence Day off as well or instead, but no such luck.

Who is/was Pulaski?
 
Oops. Not reading too closely on the phone at the HS football game. We're getting whupped by the HS from the town next to us. Was supposed to be the other way around. Hopefully this means we won't have to go to the playoffs.

I was not invited to the meal of which y'all speak. I barely even made it to the Pit, because Moose is a cold-hearted dick and handed the phone over to Guyon to give me "directions".

Point of fact... never EVER ask Guyon for directions. That dude is a wonderful human bean, but he will get you completely lost inside a brown paper bag if you let him. :rolleyes:

I do seem to recall a bit of "Turkey Time" with a select few Beckerheads in the Pit that night, though... and at least one of 'em blamed me :eek: for causing him to sleep through his alarm clock the next day... so, there's that.

I work 3 days with a 4 day weekend one week and 4 on 3 off the next, 13 hour shifts. Took a little getting used to such a long day at first but the long weekends make up for it and then some.

We had Pulaski Day off as well. No idea why.

I think I'm going to hit up a couple flea markets tomorrow. Going to be on the lookout for an anvil and .22.
