Yeah Thorny, I did. im just trying to figure out a good way to get out of it! OPPPS!!!! Did I just type that? JK. Im a little unsure about the construction on those knives. They are hidden or full tang. I cant tell by the pictures. Im not sure if I have any stock that big so that might be a issue but doesn't make it not doable. Any more pics and specs you can send me would be helpful.

I will see what I can find. Thanks man..lol

just dropped 70 bucks on a work shape figured I need a good way too sharpen knives before! I buy more lol

I have a worksharp. It was intended to sharpen chisels but came with a knife sharpening rig too. It's not bad at all but I mainly use it for axes and hatchets (and my bk-2).

For those of you that don't know 1066Vik, he's pretty much a badass. He's a big viking looking renaissance man that can only exceed his large wealth of knowledge with his generosity. I text him this weekend to see if I'd gotten a good deal on the Council axe I ordered for my wife. When I explained that she wanted an axe because of her recent stumble upon Mr. Kepharts writings, Vik offered to send her a Condor Kephart as a late wedding gift. Well due to a misunderstanding on my part the package was sent to Todd's shop.

Todd text me today that I had a big box that had my name on it at his place. A "big box" didn't sound like a Kephart. He opened it and told me there was a Ka-Bar Zomstro inside. That confused me so I went to pick it up and then called Vik this evening. He said that the Zomstro was a late wedding gift for me. Hell yes! The great people here never cease to amaze me. Thanks again Vik!

Hey Dubz, is that the video from Tradewaters last vacation?:D Awesome Video---That part where the forest turned from green to snow-covered while the guy skied down it was amazing.

Well the wifey is sad. Our two kids left with my Mom and Dad this morning for a little summer vacation. There taking them to Chicago for a day or two then meeting my sister and her family in Michigan for camping and 4th of july festivities. They will be back Sunday. Its the longest my wife has been away from our kids so she teary eyed about it. I think it will be good for everybody, wife and I will have a little piece and quite, and the kids will get quality time with grandma and grandpa and nieces and nephews, aunt and uncle. Plus, if I'm lucky the wifey will be in the mood!;)..............wish me luck!

Here is my suggestion Todd, not that you asked for it but hell, snark is low. Take these couple days, unplug the computer and take this time to spoil the misses. The interwebz won't divide by zero without you for a couple days and with all the work you did for Blade I am betting you could both use the quality time.

Well that indeed is good advice. However, one thing I've noticed about my knifemaking is. Well, I have to make the knives! ;-) as much as id like them to they don't grow on the trees in my yard. I am gonna split these 4 days off though. The wife and I are gonna take Thursday and Friday and do some hiking and kayaking and stop by my favorite brewery. But as far as Saturday and Sunday. I've got about 6 projects that are past due and really stressing me out not having done. The people that they belong to have been really paitent and cool about it but its painfull for me not to have them out. I hate working that way and the sooner I get them done and to there rightfull owners, the sooner I will sleep better at night. So, in the shop this weekend! Hope the wifey will be dazzled enough Thursday and Friday! ;)
